Olympic Video Overload

There's entirely too much to link to here, so I'll get right down to it.

First off: Slate muses on inspirational tale of down-on-his-luck Kobe Bryant.



Next up: "The Daily Show" did an entire episode Wednesday on the Olympics (click here to watch it in full). One tremendous segment:



This next one needs some introduction. One of the most popular shows in China is called SexyBeijingTV. It's hosted by a Jewish-American-Beijinger (the ever-popular JAB) named Anna Sophie Loewenberg (mom, please don't tell my Bubbe about this). She goes by the Chinese name of Su Fei, because it sounds like her English name. Unfortunately, shortly after she started using the name, a Chinese company introduced a feminine hygiene product of the same name.

Here's her take on women and the Olympics:



Dwayne Wade's been doing a video diary for the AP. Here, he talks about Michael Phelps and growing back his hair.



I'm hoping that the Chinese aren't using this video as a guide for how to spot steroid abusers.



Puppet Kanye West competes in the Olympics. Also of note: Puppet Kanye West is endorsed by Nike.

    i LOVE his music. hes very talented. him as a person, though, i dont know. im not gonna go by how he is on tv. for all i know, that could be a publicity act. unless i have a one-on-one with him, i wont judge.

    I love Kanye west music and his songgs.. he has a really nice voice.... But i dont really like his personality cuz at the music awards there was an award for taylor swift and he goes well done but i think that betyonce should of got the award... taylor must of felt really embarresed and ashamed... he doesnt seem lyk a nice person personality wise....!!
