A NOD TO THE JUBILANT: If you've been to the Heidi's Deli in our building, you've likely seen the highly skilled sandwich maker (chicken parmesan today is yummm) who always wore Obama buttons on her uniform (and is still wearing one). I told her when down there for lunch today that I thought of how happy she must have been on election night, and she confessed that she celebrated so much she didn't come into work the next day. So, hey, I didn't vote for Obama, but it's still nice to see election joy such as hers.COWPOKE HATS OFF TO KEN SALAZAR: He's one of the Democratic senators trying to save Joe Lieberman's chairmanship of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. I WILL PAY $$$ TO SEE THIS: Evander Holyfield, 46, whose ear weathered the chomp of Mike Tyson, is coming back to the ring after an eight-year absence to fight giant hairy Russian Nikolai Valuev (7 feet tall, 330 pounds). But maybe others in danger of losing their home, like Holyfield, would risk taking a pounding by Valuev to get that kind of payout. Then again...
