Tyrone Poole visits; Morning practice report
Veteran cornerback Tyrone Poole, who played for the Broncos in 2002, was at the team's Dove Valley complex Saturday. Poole, who is 36 years old, was said to be in for a workout.
Poole last played for the Oakland Raiders in the 2006 season, having played in 12 games. He has also played for hte Patriots, Colts and Panthers in his career and played on back-to-back Super Bowl winners in New England.
He has 18 career interceptions.
Guard Montrae Holland was held out of the morning practice once again after reporting 10 pounds over his required weight. He had been listed at 322 pounds on the Broncos roster and that is often close to a player's required reporting weight.
He work on an adjacent field, pushing a wooden sled with the team's strength and conditioning coach Rich Tuten. The only healthy player missing from the workout was rookie linebacker Spencer Larsen, who was excused because of a death in his family.
