Any team that loses to both Oakland and Kansas City in the same season has NO BUSINESS even thinking about the playoffs. Take away the worst no-call in NFL history, and the Donkies would have been eliminated several weeks ago.

So much for Shanahan, the mastermind. He, the owner, the team, and its fans are a bunch of arrogant posers. What's the record now? One playoff win since #7 retired? Fantastic!

I am a long time bronco's fan, however, this notion that Shannahan is untouchable is absurd. One playoff trip since Elway retired, 4 defensive make-overs in 5 years (with a 5th on the way) and a historical collapse (led division wire to wire, blew a 3 game lead with 3 weeks to go) any owner in his right mind would agree it is TIME FOR NEW BLOOD, it's not that Mike isn't good, but this team is NO LONGER responding to him and he has NO TALENT in acquiring defensive talent (see BROWNS linemen and Dre "I can't cover anyone" Bly.

Portis for Champ, the verdict is still out...Champ is good, but he is only GREAT if he has a decent defense around him...but he can't cover everyone, make all the tackles and support the run if he is supposed to be a cornerback.

Bottom line, we need new blood, new fire, new life or 2009 will just be more of the same, lofty expectations with a major, major letdown!

Go get Cowher, or Spagnola or some other young stud who brings in FRESH life and ideas!

We should be reading that Shanahan, Mangini, Crennel and Marinelli were the NFL coaches fired today. But unfortunately, since he is such a genius, Shanahan will never be fired from the Broncos. The Broncos will never be more then just a mediocre-laughable NFL team with a Elway wanabe at QB.

Denver gets what it deserves (Sad and Laughable)
