Football banquet set for Rams

Colorado State's football season isn't over yet.

The Rams have one more game to play, most likely Dec. 20 in the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque.

Official announcements might not be revealed until this weekend but the Rams will be playing in the postseason.

However, the team will take a break from post season preparations and hold their annual football banquet on Sunday, Dec. 7 and ironically that's probably when the bowl date and opponent will be finalized.

Fans are invited to attend the banquet which will be held at the Hilton Fort Collins with registration at 5 p.m. and the dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per person.

The 2008 Thurman "Fum" McGraw Most Valuable Player award will be presented during the evening.
