A nod to the secondary

With their second pick in the fourth round the Broncos took hard-hitting cornerback Jack Williams from Kent State.

Williams played in 44 games in his career, starting 39. A physical player who forced seven fumbles over the last three seasons combined, including forcing five fumbles in '06 to tie for the national lead.

He ran 4.43 on the electronic clock at the combine and has a plenty of special teams history so would be expected to contribute there for the Broncos. His coaches told teams around the league as well that Williams was a quality leader.

He should compete for the nickel cornerback spot.
