Animal fighting

Martin Martin Montorfano of The Humane Society of the United States writes:

The Humane Society of the United States wishes to thank and congratulate U.S. Senator Wayne Allard for his efforts to stop dog fighting and cockfighting. Thanks in part to Senator Allard, who has been working for stronger laws against animal fighting in Congress since 1999, the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act passed the U.S. Senate unanimously. The U.S. House of Representatives had previously cleared its version by a landslide vote of 368-39, and it is now on the President’s desk.
This anti-crime legislation will provide felony-level penalties for interstate and foreign animal fighting activities, and outlaw commerce in cockfighting weapons. Animal fighting not only fosters unspeakable cruelty to animals, but also spawns other criminal activity, such as narcotics traffic, illegal gambling, public corruption, and violence toward people.
When animal fighters can earn tens of thousands of dollars wagering on a single fight, a slap on the wrist is considered just a cost of doing business.
Stronger penalties are needed to stop this organized network of criminal activity, and that’s why the National Sheriffs’ Association and 400 law enforcement agencies from across the country joined The Humane Society of the United States in backing this bill.

It seems that betting on animal fights has increased with the infestation of illegal aliens from south of the border. I'll bet a lot of the animal fights would stop if the Mexican invasion were stopped and the ones here illegally were deported.

QBT is RIGHT dog fighting and cock fighting run rampant in Mexico. The illegals want to bring ALL their culture here. They don't want to learn English. They wave the Mexican flag with pride. They break the laws of the U.S. at every turn, including dog fighting and cock fighting. No U.S. laws have stopped them from doing what the hell they want in this country. They will just laugh at the Humane Societys efforts and continue bringing in these unfortunate animals to fight. It IS a part of their third world culture. America is becoming third world because of them.

I agree with T and QBT.
Charles you need to open your eyes and ears so you will learn that the illegal aliens streaming into this country are affecting every facet of our lives. They are changing things and these changes are not always good. They are bringing their corrupt and lawless culture with them. Is that what you want?

Do I rant against Mexicans and illegal aliens? You bet I do because they are ruining our once great nation.

Animal fighting and betting on it is common in Mexico and other third world cesspools. If you want to live in a cesspool Charles B; that is your choice, and the world is full of dumps for you choose from. I and others however prefer to live in America and other first world nations. We do not want to live in the crap holes of the world.

Be sure to send us a postcard telling us how lovely the third world rat hole you chose to live in is.

While I agree that certain posters take just about every issue and spin it into an illegal alien debate, and that gets tiresome, for two years now, I have witnessed how a lot of poor Mexicans treat dogs, as I live in a mostly poor Mexican neighborhood. Dogs are constantly on the loose, and when their owners retrieve them, they're penned up outside 24/7. I rarely see the Mexicans in this neighborhood walking their dogs.

Let me add that MOST of the dogs Mexican's own are (you guessed it) Pitbulls!! Gee I wonder what they want with Pitbulls????
