Motives suspect
Douglas Graen
However, I am sick and tired of extreme conservatives trying to make us feel sorry for them when their motives are less than commendable. What reason can there be to discredit Gore? The only one I can think of is to protect big business at the cost of sacrificing future generations’ health and well-being.
"What reason can there be to discredit Gore?" - Douglas Green
Because he is such a HUGE target, such a HUGE hypocrite, and this is politics. Geez, Doug, when did you wake up from your nap? The left does the same thing to the right. When a conservative who espouses morality and Christian teachings is caught up in a sex scandal or some other tawdry behavior, the left goes nuts over the hypocrisy of it all. This is no different then what is being done to Gore now. To the new left, this "man-made global warming" thing is the new religion and Gore is the f'n pope. When the pope preaches we should all conserve and live a frugal energy lifestyle while flying around in Gulfstream Vs and living in a mansion that consumes a hell of a lot more energy than the average American - he asks for it.
Posted by Michael on April 30, 2007 06:25 AMall of the far extrem left socalist liberal democrats live by the old standard, DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO. ever notice how they get all upset when welfare reform is brought up?
it means they lose power over people who no longer have to wait for their government checks on the first of the month.
It is a duty for someone to point out hypocrisy,no matter who is practicing it. Al Gore is making millions of dollars and winning awards for a message that is clear. We must do something about global warming. Someone has only exposed him for the hypocrite that he is. the same should be done for anyone not practicing what the preach.
Here is where the right and left differ. It seems to me, and this is only my observation. If the left is caught not practicing what they preach, they go into destroy mode. They can be extreme and dangerous when confronted with their hypocrisy.
The right when caught try to find excuses but do not try to harm and harass people.
I think exposing the far left can be dangerous and make you a target because they do not understand freedom of speech unless they are saying something.
Can I get a(n) (sic) Amen,
Wether or not Al Gore is a hypocrite has no bearing on the reality of Global Warming.
The Gore story is a red herring.
Posted by Charles B on April 30, 2007 07:34 AMAlGore has made himself the spokesman for global warming and has been the darling of the liberal press. AlGore seems to be a hypocrite and liar. How can anyone trust anything he says, whether the cause is good or bad. This does have a bearing on global warming.
Posted by on April 30, 2007 09:15 AMI wonder if all the republican voters were virgins until marraige?
These people are the biggest hippocrates on earth.
"Because it's politics" geez now there's an answer for you. Go outside and slap yourself silly Michael, you deserve it.

Not nearly as robotic as your Authoritarian Bush Cultist talking point belches. So does Matt Drudge smear you with raw eggs before he injects his bogus narratives into your thinking half?

Posted by Snarky on April 30, 2007 08:52 PMRight wing Nut:
Let see, I do not, nor did I ever attend a church, I had sex before marriage. I voted Republican. How am I a hippocrite(sic)? Or is it OK for you to profile?
Wow! I didn't realize I would start such a debate. It's great! Actually I didn't even realize this was out there until now when I happened to search on my name. I thought I had sent this letter to the Post. Anyway ... 2 points:
1) Al Gore did have a big role in making the Internet available to all. Funny how the press latches onto a silly slip up and the truth is missed.
2) To the right wing nut: If you don't vote Republican because of religion, then why? They're certainly not fiscally responsible. What's left to like them for?
