Lisl Auman
This letter has not been edited.
The Law and Order types that are so vengeful against Ms Auman KNOW that Jaehnig did not commit suicide but was murdered by Denver Police officers. By focusing on the Auman the murder of Jaehnig remains hidden.
Posted by D on May 30, 2007 03:13 PMWhen you point a gun at a cop, you get dead. I guess that's a form of suicide. I don't think it's called murder though.
Oh wait, were you trying to take Jaehnig's side? Wow. OK, um, what should the cops have done, asked very politely for Jaehnig to put the gun down? Even while he was firing at them? You don't spend much time in reality, do you D? And you certainly have never been employed at a job where people fire bullets at you! Regardless, I hope you like the view of your small intestine.

Well, legally that's not true, of course. If you're driving the getaway car at a bank robbery and somebody is killed inside - you're on the hook for murder as well.
If you don't LIKE the law, that's a different matter. Likewise, if you don't like the way the law was applied in Auman's case that's fine as well. But legally...she set in motion the events that led to the death of the police officer.
And honestly...if you're breaking and entering and stealing, it's not unreasonable to think something "bad" may well happen. You take the risks, you pay the piper.
Posted by Tim on May 30, 2007 04:27 PMI'll continue to defend Lisl since she did not put into motion the events that resulted in Bruce's death. Her ex-boyfriend appropriated her personal property and calling the police would not have resolved the matter as they'd have told her it was a civil matter.
By the time she hired a lawyer and went to court, her items and him would have been long gone. She tried abate by self-help; sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't; however, for Mike to call her a "murderous" is outrageous:
Lisl is a "murderess," says Mike: Defined: To kill another human unlawfully, to kill brutally or inhumanly, to kill or slaughter inhumanly or barbarously is murder. Mike is reduced to name-calling while ex-boyfriend laughs at the saga his conduct created. I chide Mike for his erroneous conclusion and he won't back off. He needs to defend the ex-boyfriend.
Renee says the punishment should fit the crime; if any, punish the ex-boyfriend; he is the most culpable. Lisl endured egregious hardship by virtue of somebody else's wrongdoing coming and going.
Indeed so,Richard and D.....I do recall that during the same timeframe as the Vanderjagt/Jaehnig "incident",DPD invaded the home of Esmail Mena on a false no-knock warrant and machine-gunned Mr.Mena to death. So does this mean that Lisl did time for NOT killing someone and the cops get a paid vacation(oops, sorry. That's "administrative leave") for first-degree murder with illegal assault weapons? What's so attractive about the cop-waddle that we give divine power to those who walk that walk?

Who is Mike?
Abate by self help? You mean breaking and entering?
Freaking nutcases.
Posted by What?!?!? on June 1, 2007 08:37 AMA little research shows that the public official responsible for the Auman and Mena lynchings is......(drum roll please) Governor Bill Ritter, who as Denver DA never met a killer cop he didn't reward.
