Comic outrageous
In the Sept. 24 edition of the Rocky Mountain News, the comic strip Cornered was outrageous. Any mention of crystal meth as a way to make money is unacceptable and just plain wrong! And to indicate that making meth is a way to fund medical or scientific research is awful.
Please watch the content of the funny pages more carefully. This is simply not funny or appropriate for a publicly circulated newspaper.
Donell Minnis, Aurora
Why not fund med research with illegal drugs? After all the majority of those who recieve free medical are also ILLEGAL and they import meth from the Mex Cartels.
So many groups want hemp legalised lets just legalise all drugs and let people do what they want to do.
After all the left who are calling themselves moderates want to control your life while under the guise of freedom do not want to be held acountable or responsible for things. Let ANARCHY RIEGN

I am sure that you have noticed that there is no respect or reverence for ANYTHING anymore.
People think they have the right to print F the president, kids try to rearrange the words of our pledge, NO respect is expected or demanded any more. It's the norm to call your in-laws by their first names, kids call adults by first names, a complete lack of respect.
I have seen bumper stickers that are so offensive that they make me want to vomit.
But there they are for all ages to see and be exposed to. Tastelessness seems to be the norm.
A mother walked into our public school office to sign in to volunteer in her 3rd grader's classroom with a toddler in tow. On her black t-shirt were 3 inch high letters in white that said, F___ THAT. If I hadn't been standing there I would not have believed it myself. She was instructed by the school secretary to go into the restroom and turn the t-shirt inside out or go home and change. The mother's response was "Oh, I forgot I had it on." Unbelievable, right? Why did she have it on in the first place???
It is getting worse every day, anything goes.
It will never be right.
BUT DON'T EVER MENTION GOD.

And just what might be wrong with legalizing drugs, and letting people have the choice?
Or are you one of those who considers that since your version of "god" can't be found around today, you have been appointed some kind of "regent" to live others' lives for them in the absence of an embodied superstition?
