Ending the war in Iraq
As we are swiftly approaching the supposely September 15th deadline for General Petraus and Ambassor Dave Crocker report back to Congress, the Bush Administration yesterday thought it was taking a bold step forward by promoting the supposely “successes”
President George W. Bush is still singing his favorite Texan swan song — THE SURGE IS WORKING —- WE MUST STAY THE COURSE —- and Congress cannot change your stubborn thinking — and that YOU are the ultimate decider for the Iraq War.
Dear Mr. President; May I remind you that Congress does have the power to correct your misjudgements. Its’ written in our Constitution, and if you think that you can attack Iran (in the foreseeable future) with their permission, you have forgotten your early childhood history lessons. That’s why the checks and balances are in place —- We have to BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW, DEFUND THE WAR, and END THIS MADNESS CALLED TERRORISM

Cindy - Get your head out of the clouds and pay attention to what is going on. Gen Petraus and the Ambassador have been briefing the Congress and the Senate since Monday Morning on the report. It do not like what the said but at least I know what is going on.

Your posts inflate my chest with patriotism, well said sir. It is in no way a coincidence that Osama always seems to pop up around elections and other important events. CNN I'm sure is shooting his videos (info I received from the always factual Keith). No doubt he is a democrat, you think they would be smarter than to have Osama parrot their US hating liberal coward talking points when Bush is about to make a historic statement regarding terrorism and the progress made. I know Osama is not smart enough to try that reverse psychology thingy where he says something like you need to pull out now because it is not working when what he really means is stay we enjoy killig you. I know he is not smart enough to think saying we should pull out now would enrage us patriots and make us stay doing just the opposite of what he says and really wants. I know he is not that smart... Just one fellow boot up the ass patriot to another!
