Hillary Clinton returning money
Monday, September 17 at 1:09 PM

Robert Vitaletti of Denver writes:

Hillary Clinton’s announcement yesterday that she is returning $850,000 collected by recently apprehended fugitive financier Norman Hsu, (prolific pro-Hillary bundler- fundraiser), to the individual donors, whom she then invites to donate the money back to her, is a prestidigitation worthy of the Great Houdini. Before your very eyes, watch as these controversial funds disappear into thin air and then magically reappear morphed into legitimate contributions. The illusion is amazing. The scandal here is not so much that Hsu is being investigated by the FBI for election law violations, it’s what Hillary Clinton is doing right now with the donors.
Initially solicited by Hsu, it is unknown whether the donors would have given to Clinton in the first place, and now she tells them how they can re-donate the money back to her. Funds just too large to be given to charity,(as she did with the first 23,000 she revealed last week that he handed her), and presented in a bundled bouquet once proudly displayed by Hsu and the Clinton campaign, will vanish into thin air, and then suddenly reassemble at the snap of her fingers.
Watch closely and don’t blink as you will miss this magical manipulation and triangulation occur under the bright lights on our political stage. Could this slight of hand be so quick and slick as to go unnoticed by the American voter? Will the this grand illusion of the Clinton slight of hand fool voters enough to nominate the Great Hillary as her party’s candidate for president? Can the Democrats be tricked into believing that this illusion is real, or will the trap door on which she is standing be released and empty the stage in a puff of political smoke? Be sure to catch the show on the road, beginning January, 2008 in Iowa and beyond.

If the donor wishes to donate back to Hillary Clinton, that's their business.

Sure she gave it back after being caught with her chubby hand in the cookie jar. Same old Hillary and the same old Clinton corruption from the 1990's which the liberals convienently try to make us forget about.

Not Guitly they all voted on impeachment when they knew Slick Willie was guilty of perjury and much more.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce The New and Improved Hillary who's going to save the country from those bad old corrupt Republicans.

Great Americans,

Let's hope no political contribution reform ever happens, we want and need the money from whomever whenever. And great Patriotic Amercans remeber the slogan "That which helps the individual American now hurts the corporations later" We need to honor and protect our geatest American asset which is the American corporation (Even if it is on Saudi soil and outsources the labor) Keep the machine running, making change and looking ahead is bad for the US.

Great American

Don't you fret, no contribution reform will ever happen. The politicians on both sides are addicted to money and power and will continue the practice until the country as we knew it will cease to exist. The real power behind it all are the world bankers, not the corporations. They just get a piece of the action.

a clinton returning money? fat chance on that ever happening except on the nightly news and in the NYT. hillary would pimp bill out to get more money and he would love it as long as they wear a blue dress.

Can someone please specify what horrible act Hillary perpetrated by accepting money from someone not yet known to be a criminal? And then returning it once the fact became known? Is she supposed to run her own investigative service or perhaps have mental telepathy?

Romulus, Romulus, Romulus,

Clinton is the name, and if so investigation is the game. We will let no stone go unturned for a Clinton or for that matter no expense. Hey my buddy Ken Starr wrote a masterpiece about Bill you should check it out, it was so graphic I finished up 3 times before the first chapter was over. You would think Ken was on the dress as well, he has so much inside (pardon the pun) information you would think he was writing for Penthouse forum.

The idea that you believe she didn't know what this guy was up to is pretty amazing Romulus.

Considering the problems during Bills campaign, you'd think she would be extra careful to know the backgrounds of her campaign fundraisers.

This wasn't some guy who magically appeared with some tainted dough. He was so highly involved in her fundraising he earned the nickname of HillRaiser.

Remember, Bush lied, Cheney lied, Rove lied, Libby lied, Gonzales lied. You lefties chant this as your creed.

But when it comes to poor ol' dear sweet Hillary, you say naaaaw, she couldn't possibly have known.

Now that's funny!

Where are the investigative reporters demanding answers to the main question;

What did Hillary know and when did she know it?

What will happen when the truth comes out as Hsu caves and drops dime on Hillary?

If anyone plays The Dead Pool, Norman has got to have some short odds.

This also isn't the first time this has happened with the Clintons. Remember Peter Paul?

And what timing, now we have YET ANOTHER Clinton donor arrested.

I thought the New Dems were going to clean up the corruption. I guess just not its own.

When will the MSM connect the dots?

Get real - Instead of draining the swamp, it appears the dems prefer to turn it into more of a water theme park than anything else.

Too bad Bush can't return the 3700 American lives he wasted in his quest to rule the middle east (oil)

Funny how the conservatives never seemed to be too concerned about money in politics while the vast majority was going to Republicans. But now that some is starting to go in the other direction they are suddenly shocked, shocked to discover that big money tries to buy political influence. The hypocrisy is astounding.

Romulus –

Republican hypocrisy is so thick it's delicious.

Posted by GK on September 18, 2007 01:53 PM

Romulus,
So, now that you've discovered that Hillary is just as slimy as the Republicans (man, what a revelation), you'll be denouncing her just as loudly, right.
