Illegal immigrants
Saturday, September 15 at 2:00 PM

Irwin MacLeod of Colorado Springs writes:

The American people and their representatives in Congress are the sole arbiter of how many immigrants can come to this country.? And we are very generous with this. A million or two are allowed every year legally.? You have? La Raza, the largest lobbyist firm for illegal immigrants,?and Calderon, the President of Mexico, with the audacity of thinking they are the arbiter of how many illegal citizens can come into this country.? THEY ARE NOT!? Calderon now has the?audacity to say “where there is a Mexican there is Mexico."? With 12 million illegal immigrants in ?the United States, it?would be Mexico.? We have to?close our borders .? There should be no illegal immigrants., Calderon and La Raza think it is perfectly alright to send 12 million to 20 million of their unemployed to this country.?Among those 12 million are more than 200,000 in our prisons costing the tax payers billions of dollars ?plus ICE is hunting for 500,000 illegal felons who are presently in this country.?? Immigration is when we have regulated the amount of?people who come here - our country’s immigration?policy allow people to come from 50 or more countries on the lottery system.? By regulating the flow these immigrants assimilate into the country - but not so with illegal immigrants.? They are coming across the border by the thousands every month and are becoming the majority in many of our states..They are arrogantly circumventing our immigration laws.? Why don’t LaRaza and Calderon understand the word “illegal."?? No nation on earth can assimilate this many people or allow millions to ignore our immigration law.? Now Calderon, the President of Mexico, says the Mexican border does not stop at the United States border, declaring that part of the United States is Mexico? This has to stop.? We Americans are now the arbiters of ?how many immigrants can come to America, and where our borders are.

What, is your question-mark key stuck????? Your letter is sure tough to read. If you thought inserting all these question marks would be cute, you just shot yourself in the foot.

I just can't bring myself to take this letter seriously. It's just too poorly written.

Good Letter, Irwin. I guess we all can't be as intellutually superior as Johnny and Denise.
One more thought to add,. Greenspan in his new book says the inequality of classes will widen and violents may occur Boy I can't wait for that day to come.

You are all missing the point....Mexcico is not an ocean away.In case you have a biased opinion, which I presume you do by your ranting's. The south-western USA,was Mexico until an unjust war was declared in order to take that part of Mexico by force.Bowie, and his american thugs had no business in the alamo in the first place, but might makes right according to the american way.......Just know this,no nation rules forever, and get used to spanish because it is here to stay....Atleast for the near future!!!!!!!!! It's already too late for you bigots, just pray the new wave of hispanic's have more compassion than you've shown them.......NOW LETS HEAR YOUR RACIST POISON SUPERIORITY COME-BACK..........We've already heard it all from you MANIFEST-DESTINY fanatics!!!!!!!!!!!!

From today's RMN:

"Family Chases Down Would-Be Hit-and Run Driver"-- The driver was identified by a Mexican Consulate Card.

In other words, he was an illegal alien. Associated Press didn't catch his illegal status I guess. It is interesting to read AP stories downplaying illegal aliens impact on society and illegal immigration. My how they attempt to manipulate terminology to fit their agenda.

If you notice it's usually Mexican kids that are run down in the streets Ron. Why is that????
Could it be, that the pregnant mothers are to busy ignoring them as they are encouraged to play in the streets? Illegals are like cockroaches they are over-running this country! What do you do when your house has been infested by unwanted pests???

Well, Ron, if you're a legal citizen, you're free to donate your land and property to those your heart is bleeding for, and go back to your origin across the Atlantic. Don't let the door hit you...For the computer illiterates freaking out about the question marks, that frequently happens when HTML formatting is converted to text. Now go and google HTML.

It appears the final arbiter is W. Bush, the decider. The law is on the books; he won't implement the law; he won't enforce the law. This is the Republican mentality from the Independent point of view.

Please go to www.numbersusa.com to send faxes as Sen. Durbin is attaching an amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill that will be discussed tomorrow. If passed, illegals would be granted in-state tuition and more. Please call your elected officials with your opinion. We must take action now.

September 14) During the consideration of the Department of Defense authorization bill (H.R. 1585) next week, open-borders Senators will attempt to attach three proposals that would give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and dramatically increase the importation of additional foreign labor for American jobs.

Senate Amendment 2237 to the bill, sponsored by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), is the DREAM Act, which would grant amnesty to illegal aliens that:

have maintained continuous presence in the United States for five years and was not yet 16 years old upon initial entry;

are of "good moral character" and is not inadmissible or deportable on certain criminal grounds or on the basis of being a risk to national security; and

have been admitted to an institution of higher education, has attained a high school diploma, or has obtained a GED in the United States.

In addition, amendments increasing availability of H-1B "high-skill" foreign worker visas and permanent residence for foreign workers and increasing the number of H-2B "low-skill" nonagricultural worker visas for seasonal foreign workers are expected to be brought up.
Efforts to add an amnesty for illegal farm workers (AgJOBS) to the farm bill (H.R. 2419) have been delayed. However, pro-amnesty advocacy groups have been promised that AgJOBS will be attached to that measure this fall and signed into law.

Lets start the pro-active movement and call your Senators now and tell them to vote NO

We indeed not to put a stop to illegal immigration. And if we could put a stop to the birth of people like SP that would be helpful, too.

Posted by Truth on September 16, 2007 07:09 PM

I have come to the conclusion that all illegals will be given anything they want because we as american citizens are to cowardly to stop it.

our "representatives" are worthless to us now

Posted by Fresh on September 16, 2007 10:50 PM

Fresh, you may very well be right, and those represenatives that WILL do something about it are called racist, as are any lawenforcement agencies that enforce and uphold the laws. Any laws that people pass to help stop or curb and discourage illegal immigration are forced out by the likes of the ACLU and La Raza and all. Slowly, hopefully its not too late, the people are starting to change and stand up. We need to make our voices heard as well instead of just the ACLU, La Raza and all, WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES NEED TO SPEAK UP. We also need to take the 2nd amendment serious and start forming militias to sfaegaurd the stability of the state and country if our elected officials do not desire to.

Ron,

You like that word "racist" don't you? Lately, it has been your little trump card to justify your FALSE Chicano movement "facts" about "unjust" wars etc.

But you know what Ron? Your card is wearing out. One day you are going to spout your "racist" garbage and you will be ignored, or at worst, you may get your overconfident arrogant butt kicked.

You are the racist Ron. You know that. You are the HATER. You know that. You want Mexico to have this land? Bring the Mexician army up here and TAKE it. Otherwise, shut up with your loudmouth crap.

Take your RACIST Chicano movement and shove it up your ass.

Hi, Ron

Seems to me the USA has no particular stranglehold on aberrant behavior by its immigrants, legal or illegal. Consider the original rape and genocide of native America by such notables as Cortez and Pizarro. Now be nice, Ron.

Truthy,
The Mexican Army has already intruded on our territory (just Google "Mexican Army Incursions" to see for yourself. It seems to me that we need to authorize the National Guard down on the border to shoot back. This kind of b.s. cannot continue.
