Stein tipped the balance
Saturday, September 29 at 12:01 AM

When I first moved here, I took (read) both Denver papers. The Rocky Mountain News won — for cartoonist Ed Stein and the other great (and frequent) political cartoonists.
Columnists Bill Johnson and Mike Littwin were icing on the cake.
No editor is perfect; and I don’t always agree with every word, but Stein deserves twice what he’s paid.

Who is the wacko, Sue or 06:43AM? Sue has a legitimate opinion, whether you agree with it or not. Wacko simply wants to exercise his right to be a damn fool.

Ed Stein, Mike Littwin, and Bill Johnson represent almost everything I despise in American left wing politics today. Far from "icing on the cake", they are to me more like rancid beef or sour milk. Isn't America great where we can have such diverse opinions on almost every topic imaginable?

Michael-

You said it all. Very, very one-sided, all of them.

I am very conservative and Ed Stein is almost always on the opposite side of every issue but he is funny and often exposes an angle of observation that I missed. Keep him and anyone else with his ability to express opinions and clearly depict them as such rather than try to disguise them as news.

Yes, Michael,

America IS great exactly because we can, and do, have diverse opinions on EVERY topic imaginable; and we are not gagged, or bound to single point of view and/or expression, by "religious", "moral", self righetous indignation, or other claptrap such as that - not yet, anyway.

For all you who hate stein, see that thing hanging on the end of your left arm? It is called your hand, and you can use it to cover the cartoon.

i do the same with the Duck. Now if ever a duck needed his head ripped off....
