Who’s ‘betrayed us’
Tuesday, September 18 at 12:01 AM

I found the politicians’ reactions to MoveOn.org’s “General Petraeus or General Betray Us” ad pretty much along politically correct party lines with one exception. That being the high road Sen. John Kerry took, saying the ad “was simply over the top and inappropriate.”
Nice show of class. Especially in light of the despicable distortions leveled against Kerry by the swift boat gang and mastermind, Karl Rove.
Myself, I found the play on words darkly humorous but inaccurate. At this stage of the game I believe it is this lame duck president and cowardly Congress that has betrayed U.S.

yup ole kerry and his gurl hanoi jane both were seen cryin there eyes out over it as it reminded them of how they went to france to applogize to the north about how unjust we were in starting a war in their country and we were so bad and need to leave.
wow it is very humorous for an Active military General to be lied about by the socialist group of george soros, moveon.org, but are hurt because kerry was put in a view you didnt like.
who betrayed us? look to the left and see how they head south to make nice with the like of hugo and castro and dont forget all of the middle east who hate us and they are there to say we need to go home and leave them alone.

I would like to know what John Kerry, Denis Gessing is refering to.
The John Kerry that basically said our Vietnam troops were war crimminals to futher his liberal political aspirations or the John Kerry who told some college students to stay in school so you don't end up like those dummies in Iraq. No that's real "Class"

Posted by Tired of Whining on September 18, 2007 09:24 AM

Kerry? Class? Yeah, right.

Do you know what a lame duck is Keith? Here is a hint, Bush is a classic example. No support, he will be unable to accomplish anything (or in his case screw up anything) through the end of his term. Basically when someone is so pathetic that no one wants them to be able to do anything, they are considered a lame duck .

There were not any distortions said by the Swift boat patriots. Those were honest testimonies of truth.Unlike the treasonist lies that kerry said to congress and since to the American people.

you are full of crap Keith. The people who served with Kerry called those ads cowardly and factually incorrect. The man whose life was saved by Kerry was the most upset. Of course your man (Bush) was busy snorting coke and going AWOL during the war. Conservatives really made a jackass out of themselves during the last election. Now they are bitching about Moveon.org for using the same tactics. I can't respect Republicans.

it's true,You are full of crap,it's documented fact they told the truth and kerry and his lying friends lied,Check the facts idiot.

it's true for a real look at lame ducks check out your dumocrates. what has happened to all of their promises back in 06 as to what would happen the first 100 days of 07.
their approval is lower than Bushes and how could that be unless they are the real lame ducks and always have been.

Posted by on September 18, 2007 11:18 AM

The reason the Dems havent made good on their promises is that a lame-brained alcholic Texas-hillbilly imbecile that thinks himself King of America vetoed them all

Posted by serf on September 18, 2007 11:49 AM

Keith has been at this so long he is now our Vintage Idiot.

Posted by Sharon B. on September 18, 2007 11:53 AM

serf - Could you maybe list all those "vetoes" you speak of. I'd love to know exactly what laws Bush is blocking.

Posted by KW on September 18, 2007 11:57 AM

Why does Keith always tell people to check the facts, but never supply any?

Posted by Repugnants are Liars on September 18, 2007 12:13 PM

Keith from a vietnam vet I will tell you one FACT Kerry was in vietnam where was Bush and your chicken s--t a--? You talk so damn tough but we all want know what war you fought in. Kerry is a highly decorated vet and you and all the other cowardly cons have the gall to question his service. You are one low life piece of s--t.

Posted by larrymc on September 18, 2007 12:30 PM

Support the troops,

I love that saying, people like Keith only support the troops that agree with them. Apparently according to the swift boat liars it is really easy to get medals, you can actually give them to yourself. You don't need to be hurt just ask for a purple heart. So go tell all those vets out there how their medals and sacrifice are meaningless. Because if you do it to one, you do it to them all. That's the beautiful thing about the Neo Cons Kerry served in Vietnam so attack his stregnth, make him look like a liar and a coward shooting people in the back. While Bush was here in the national guard. Their marketing is brilliant, people like Keith swallow it whole...

Sharon B. When did you loose the title?

Larrymc. I'm a Viet Nam vet too, but with a different view. I served in the same place and at the same time as Kerry. No legends were born there. Kerry is to be commended for his service, as should all those who have served, but his conduct after his separation from the Navy will never and should never be forgotten. So yes, I have the gall to question his record. And I question the judgment of a man that wanted to be President who would characterize fellow soldiers as rapists and murderers, author an anti-American book (Winter Soldier), meet with and negotiate with the enemy without authority or authorization, and who would continue to disparage those in uniform as he did recently. Kerry wanted the Presidency so bad he was willing to lie about his record, embellish his accomplishments and expect those of us who knew the truth to forget. Thanks to the internet his record is on full display, from Viet Nam to the present (except for his discharge records of course), and thanks to the Swift Boat Vets for refusing to be a pawn to the most fraudulent man ever to run for the office of President.

Pencil-dick Keith, queen of the idiots. You could shoot yourself in the head and wind up smarter, you gutless pile of monkey-puke.

MoveOn's ad campaign is a stroke of pure genius.

Even liberal Democrats agree that it's a bit "over the top," but it solidly achieves its objective.

After all, it got your complete attention, didn't it? Mission accomplished.

In the advertising world, we call provocative and effective ads like this "home runs."

Congratulations on your home run, MoveOn.
