U.S. now tortures
Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 PM

Chris Shonka, no hometown provided, writes:

I am a veteran; 4 years in the US Navy. I recall boot camp training and how we, if captured, were to deal with torture. We were to give name, rank and serial number. That was it. As for our forces torturing, forget it. It didn’t happen. We were the good guys. Only Evil Empires tortured. Nazis tortured. Imperial Japan tortured. Communist China and the Soviet Union tortured.
Now, apparently, so do we.
God bless America.

This writer is straight on. In the military, we were taught about the Geneva convention as well the the Laws for Armed Conflict. Don't folks realize that once you use the tactics of the enemy, that you have BECOME your enemy?

Yo Chris, my name sake as in
Navy long long before you were born: Recently, I assisted a student in answer to a question that asked if he would torture to save the lives of the many: Men, women, and children. I wrote for him that such scum deserved to be tortured for such evil conduct. To close with "God Bless America" is an admission that god thrives in the torture of humans as evidenced in his Book of the Demon, Old and New Testament and quite vocal in the Qu'ran.

Deicide Corner: Hate your father, your mother, your brethren, you sister, your brother and follow me sounds like a requirement for membership in a cult; however, that is the baby "jew's" demand after he morphs into an anti-Semitic Christian god whose existence is to "Bless America." Such credulous and ignorance is reprehensible.

There is no excuse for the use of torture. Torture choices are questionable (you don't know for sure they are guilty), methos are rehensible, and obtained information is questionable (people will confess anything to stop the pain).

What is torture? The Supremes, five belonging to the Catholic cabal and the other four: who knows, are now rumaging over: Is death by chemical injection torture?

I agree with those who prescribe torture if it is known that the guy/gal knows the location of the bomb; however, I'm not sadistic so could not participate in the torture. Jusus Christ is sadistic enough:

JC plans on a holy genocide on his 2nd Coming when he will torture billions of humans in his lake of fire for eternity. His is Rule by Fear as opposed to Rule by Love.

Deicide Corner: “The question of souls is old--we demand our bodies, now. We are tired of promises, god is deaf, and his church is our worst enemy.” -- Voltairine de Cleyre
