Kempe house opens today
Hopefully, the snow won't keep you away.
Starting today, every Wednesday through Sunday in May, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the 12,000-square-foot Kempe Villa of Dreams homes will be open to the public for a fund-raiser for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect through the Kempe Center.
The home, 1013 E. Belleview Ave. in Cherry Hills Village, has nine bathrooms and seven bedrooms. Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased at the door.
The home is a meld of old world Spanish and modern contemporary styles. The home was created by inVision Homes and DirectBuild and presented by Colorado Expression and Architecture & Design of the West magazines.
