OF Dexter Fowler is among five players the Rockies added to their roster on Tuesday.

In addition to Fowler, who was called up from Double-A Tulsa, the Rockies activated RHP Matt Herges from the disasbled list, and called up RHPs Greg Reynolds and Jason Hirsh, and C Edwin Bellorin from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Initially, manager Clint Hurdle said the minor league call ups will see limited playing time. Hirsh and Reynolds could both get a start or two, but it won't be until the Rockies are knocked out of the NL West hopes they are clinging, too. Same with Fowler's playing time in center field.

The Rockies are proviidng a left-handed look against RHP Tim Lincecum tonight. Scott Podsednik, in place of Willy Taveras in center field, and Omar Quintanilla, in place of Clint Barmes, at second base are hitting 1-2.
