Is this really the end for Denver Square? If so, I am saddened. Thanks for the fun and insightful comics.

I started following "Denver Square" a few months ago when living in Grand Forks, ironically. I'm sad to see it go but I wish you Mr. Stein continued success. Thanks.

Over the years I have been so impressed with the wit and style of Denver Square, and Stein's insights in his other cartooning as well.
Denver has many unique facets, and what I loved about Denver Square, from the double meaning of the style of architecture known here as a "Denver Square", to the true reflections of the conversations reflected inside the four panels of the cartoon, as though it was taking place within the four walls of the home.
This is very much the Denver I have known as a third generation Denverite. I have missed this cartoon more than I thought I would. I write this as an appreciative reader who will miss this like a real family that has moved away.
What a shame they couldn't afford to stay longer. Thank you Stein, for making life here much more than it was before your doodles were published.
Best to you, as you move on to other things as well.
Illegal immigrants were causing an increase in crime, taking jobs that would once have gone to longtime residents, and changing the character of their quiet city.
Wonderful blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm totally overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
Ed Stein, the editorial cartoonist for the Rocky Mountain News, drew "Denver Square," a six-day- a-week editorial strip that chronicled the lives of a Denver family.
