Duck and cover

I did a few sketches right after the Avalanche overtime debacle had ended. That way the scenes of their complete, total meltdown are still fresh enough to capture the essence of impending doom. Which somehow makes the cartoons a least a little more fun to draw if nothing else. I'm sensing we haven't seen the last of the Avs just yet, but the end is near nonetheless.

Yeah, these Avs are dangerous, all right. They fell apart so fast people are getting hit by the shrapnel.

Hey--Drew, I really enjoyed seeing yesterday's sketches from your honeymoon, and seeing the photo of you and Marcia. Very connecting!

That cartoon on Theodore is idiotic. Have you watched this series? Other than Rob Blake, Theodore was our best player in game 3. Without him, it could have been 8-3 Ducks.

jason: are you watching the same series? blake turns the puck over as bad as skoula and ozolinch. our problem all year has not been goaltending it has been our d-fence and the lack of hejduk and suckic. if we were smart we would have bought out suckic and rob fake and concentrated on getting adam and peter. adam had a better plus minus than rob fake and adams team had a loosing record.

    All three of those rock.
I mean the Avalanche suck. The ducks are the best team in the NHL. U just don't know it yet.
