Another Noguts move

The NoGuts have done it again. They had a horrendous NBA draft by eventually trading away the only pick they had. Not that the 49th pick can get you much but why not take a risk. They need a shooting guard. Why not give Gerry McNamara a chance. His performance here in Denver during the 2004 regionals was nothing short of amazing. But these clearly are Stan Kroenkes' Nuggets. He is quickly proving to be the one of the worst owners in sports. Nothing ventured ,nothing gained. The Nuggets lost in this years NBA draft. Big time.

I don't get to draw Stan Kroenke often. Maybe I should. The caricature was fun. He has a very used car salesmen look to him.

Perfect cartoon. Kroenke is the worst owner in sports. I couldn't agree more about the Gerry McNamara comment. Although the way it panned out we could still get him as a free agent. I'm not holding my breath though, with the way Silent Stanley operates.

Actually, it was a shrewd move. They now have FOUR pick in what will be the deepest draft in two decades, 2007.

So we didn't get a pick in the draft that will be forgotton before the free agent period is over. Drew, you're an idiot. Kronke has demonstrated a commitment to the Nuggets by locking up 'Melo and Nene for the next 5 years. There are plenty of mid level shooters in free agency and to gain ANOTHER pick in the '07 draft is fantastic. You may want to do some homework before you slam Kronke.
Your cartoon of K-Mart is right on though.

Jeffs' comment is dead-on. It would seem Drew is the Rocky Mountain News' equivalent of Brick Tamland.

What are you talking about? Any pick in the NBA draft after about 10th is a question mark. So choosing a guy at no 49 makes Kroenke one of the worst owners in pro sports? And some clown even agrees with you. Wow there's some real brain power out there.
