Ashley's only catch

I've been wondering lately what Ashley Lelie is up to these days since he isn't in camp. And with all those fines he's racking up while holding out . . . My mind sort of wandered in this direction. This is the final cartoon drawn in our old building. Feels kind of strange knowing I won't ever see this old place again or use my old drawing board. Interesting how we get attached to such things. But I can hardly wait for the new place and all that it brings. Hope you all will come along for the adventure.

Good stuff! It is hard to relate to Lelie's woes... I have often reported to work feeling underappreciated and undervalued, but duty and a sense of pride got me out of bed and into the office. Speaking of which, enjoy your new digs! That new drawing board will feel like home eventually, just like Invesco at Mile High and the new (now old) Broncos jerseys. I thought I would never get used to the predominantly orange jerseys, and now I see the bright orange and laugh at how loud they were! Drew, you are the man.

I just have one problem with the cartoon. Shouldn't "SUPERSTAR #1 WIDEOUT" be diving for the burger, as he normally does for the football.

Drew, you used to be funny.

what the heck happened? at least you're not flogging the dead horse that's soccer anymore (can't wait to see the exact same cartoons in four years!) ... but if you can't even find your A game when it comes to the Broncos. well, maybe they should leave more than your drawing board at the old building.
