Jake and Jay

Let's face it. One of the fun things about preseason is the fact we get to watch the new kids on the block. Sometimes we can get carried away with it all. That's what made me take this cartoon in that direction. All week long it has been Cutler this and Cutler that. Granted, he had an impressive preseason debut. But that's a long way from being the Broncos starting QB. He has some seasoning to go through. and Broncos fans everywhere will just have to be patient and not put the cart before the horse. Still I can only imagine how many people will be watching tonight's Broncos game just like this . . . keeping score on the side.

Sigh, I just wish Van Pelt could get a chance to compete for the #2 spot, rather than just handing off the ball for a quarter....

I agree, I thought it was pretty sour to not have Van Pelt be able to put the ball in the air a few times. It sounds to me like the coaches may have already made their minds up about him.

Drew, this cartoon brings your total of different subjects to three for the year; Barry Bonds using steroids, The World Cup is boring, and Jay Cutler vs. Jake Plummer. You're trying your best to make sure that dead horse is still getting the beating it deserves.
