The Clarett jersey

The Clarett saga just gets sadder. I went through a few roughs to get this image. I had one that was a bit more serious but decided to go with this one instead. I think it sums up the squandered career of a promising young athlete. My only hope is that Clarett comes out of this experience a better person.

I'm hanging in there in my Fantasy league. My team, The Beligerent Bovines are 1-1. I have Shaun Alexander who is underachieving at the moment. My real concern is Daunte Culpepper. He's been a real disappointment and I might be dumping him soon.

As I told you a few weeks ago I have relocated in the Denver area and I'm still in boxes at home. I mentioned it my friend Angel here at the News. He thinks it's better to leave things in the boxes. At least they're organized that way.

I'm excited to see Studio 60 tonight. I'll give you my review tomorrow. I love Arron Sorkin's work, especially the early West Wing stuff and the more obscure show Sports Night. If you haven't seen that series run to the nearest Best Buy and grab the DVD boxed set. What a terrific show.

This past weekends football left a bit to be desired. The Buffs were awful and the Broncos almost as bad. I missed the LSU-Auburn game and I'm gald I did. I could take another 6-3, 7-3 showdown. I'm starting to pine for those good old WAC scorefests. I did notice my UTEP Miners will be back ont CSTV this weekend. So you know where I'll be parked on Saturday afternooon.

I'm by no means a San Diego Super Chargers fan, but I'd like to humbly point out that LaDainian Tomlinson wears #21 for the bolts, not 32...

Hey Chris, Thanks for the heads up. It's been corrected.

How about a cartoon showing the zebras with blinders on in the CHEFS game?

You do know that the broncos did something that's never been done in thousands of pro games played in the history of the NFL before don't you?

You could use the picture of Larry Johnson getting pulled down by his face mask that was posted on the Kansas City Star on Monday morning.
