Plummer's picks

One of these days, like maybe next week against the Colts, those Plummer interceptions are going to cost the Broncos. He continues to make rookie mistakes. Overall, the Broncos will have to elevate their game to compete against the Colts, Steelers and Chargers.

Don't forget to put in your nickname for the Broncos offense nominations on the blog. I won't be picking a winner until Wednesday (that's when I have to draw it) so there is plenty of time left to submit your nickname ideas. I've gotten some great ones and I'm looking forward to some more submissions.

    Hey Drew,

I was born and raised in Lakewwood and have been a diehard Broncos fan for 36 years. Unfortunately, I have been living in Orlando the last 5 years and have to read the Rocky online every morning. I love your work and have been a fan since the beginning. Here are my entries for the Broncos offense:

    1-The Blue Snooze
    2-The Inept Eleven
    3-Shanny's Granny's

Keep up the good work and GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!

Love your cartoons, always have. Regret that I can't watch the Broncos as much as I'd like. Maybe I should be glad.

Well in aviation circles, a "plumber " is a pilot who just isn't very good... handles the pipes, "controls" like a plumber, not a pilot. So I propose:

    "Plummer's Plumbers"

I suggest the new nickname for the Bronco offense to be CONSTIPATION since the can't move or go anywhere!

The Broncos may be 5-1, but they are easily the luckiest and worst 5-1 team I have ever seen. Again, their defense has yet to be tested at all this entire season by either a competent or healthy opponent. Next week, the hammer falls.

    Here are some more ideas:

*The Pony Ride Express (There ain't no Bronco in that offense)

    *Drew's Doormat (Can't blame ya!!)

    *D-town Derelicts

*The Horse Flies (....they are annoying to watch!!)

*Dan's Donkeys (Not that I'm a head coach, but the conservative play calling of late reminds me of a certain Ex-Bronco head coach. Would be great to see Dan Reeves back in a Win, Lose, & Drew!!)

Keep our fingers crossed that this O finds their way back to scoring points and GO BRONCOS!!!

Drew, my entry for the Broncos offense is "Plumb and Plumber"...Plumb is the offense and Plumber is the Q.B of course. Together, they are playing just off-center or ...a bubble to the left of "plumb!"

Love all your drawings, always have...you never miss the plumb line!
