Not sure if it was the Broncos sleepwalking or just those of us who watched but never the less the Broncos get another win. That Raiders team was easily the worst one I've ever seen and could well be one of the worst teams in NFL history. Personally, it is the fate I think Randy Moss deserves. Now if only the Cowboys were that bad so Terrell could taste defeat like that.

Glad to see the Buffs win Saturday. Give Dan Hawkins time and support and he'll put together a good program. I just hope the snobby CU faculty will just let it happen instead of whining about ahtletics being too important. If they don't like it, go to Brown or Yale or something. I'd suggest Rutgers but, uh-oh, they have a winning football program. If it seems I harp on the elitist attitude in Boulder it's because it could be sooo good if they'd just let athletics be an equal to academics. But no. They would rather stand up for Ward Churchill.

The scene over the weekend with Miami involved in yet another on-the-field fight sickens me. It's time for the NCAA to step in and level the death penalty on the progam. It's that out of control. But they won't. The NCAA makes too much money off them.

The Bronco offense is sleepwalking... Just wait until we have to play the meat of the scuedule... 13 points/game just isnt going to cut it...

Why won't they roll Jake out of the pocket more? It seems like every play is a run or one of those little shovel passes that get -2 yards. Where are the tight ends? Scheffler was supposed to have the best hands of any tight end in this years draft. Where has he been? Is Plummer focusing to much on Walker on passing plays? Shanny needs to fix this problem quick. 13 points wont beat the Colts. Although the Titans just about did it. Go Broncos!

I'm glad they haven't been rolling Jake out more, there's enough tape floating around the NFL from that last year and it didn't get them anywhere. Personally, I think something is up because they scripted two screens for the first drive and have been running more "gadget" plays than i've ever seen them use in a game. So it seems that Shannahan is keeping his real offense secret for now. But then, pretty much all the recievers and running backs weren't starters last year or even playing so there's that possibility they're just trying to get everyone up to speed. I'm predicting that all the talk about the offense changes after the Colts game.

I hope they don't play like that against the Colts they might beat the browns playing that way, but the won't beat Indy or Pittsburgh.

    About the Buffs...

They played an unranked team at HOME. Of course they won.

They'd better enjoy it. It might be the last victory of the season.

"OF COURSE THEY WON"???? Lets see, they lost to Baylor and Division 1AA-Montana State at home this year.........I don't think there was any "of course" to it. With all the bashing the CU program has received since the beginning of the season, it was good to see those kids get a win. Even if it is their only win of the season (I'm an optimist though so hopefully there's a few more wins out there for them)!!

All of these soft and fuzzy feelings will be a complete and distant memory after the next big loss (most likely to come against the Sooners.) Enjoy this expected victory. I will very likely be the last this season. This is the worst coached team in its conference. Dan Hawkins is WAY overrated. The only good thing I can say about him is that he isn't Gary Barnett.

Well, even if it is their last win of the year it was good to see them at least notch one. And I think this last weeks win was ANYTHING but expected (please read previous post concerning Montana State and Baylor). And though Dan Hawkins is going through some major problems and may be overrated as you said, don't forget what he did with that Boise State program. Even if it was the people around him (ie assistant coaches) he was still the one to get them there and make Boise State a very respectable football program. And you are right.....at least he's not Gary Barnett!!
