Damien Nash Tribute

It's so hard to believe I am having to draw the loss of another Broncos player in just over two months. As I have said before cartoons like this are always very difficult to do and very draining emotionally for both professional and personal reasons. I'm hoping that this will be the last tribute cartoon I need to draw for a long time to come.

I do think all of this is going to take a toll on the Broncos in the long run. Losing Darrent Williams was hard enought but now to lose Nash so quickly will make next season very, very difficult.

Let me know what your thoughts might be or if you just wish to pay respects to Damien Nash please feel free to do so here.

Drew, this toon literally brought tears to my eyes. What a sad tragedy. I agree this will effect the Broncos in the long run. My thought and prayers go out to the Nash family.

First off....once again my condolences to the Nash family.

I have to wonder though. I somehow remember sometime ago in January there being a toon about Darrent Williams where a TON of people came on here saying all kinds of things. Now, here....we are paying tribute to Damien Nash (also a Bronco) and hardly a peep from so-called "Bronco-Nation."
Is Darrent Williams's life worth more than Damien Nash's somehow? It just bothers me that there was so much more outpouring of grief when it came to Darrent and hardly any here in the situation of Damien.
I'm not trying to be critical or a jerk, but....well.

Anyway. Very nice picture Drew. I am sure the nash family appreciates your tribute.

Of course Damien's life was worth every bit as much as Darrent's, but people just didn't know Damien. It's too bad they didn't have the chance.
