It would be a travesty for bonds, lower case intentional, to accept the home run title. He is the place on the body of baseball where and enema is inserted. I still hold against him the fact that he told a young fan that he does NOT SIGN AUTOGRAPHS FOR WHITE PEOPLE.
It is only the greed of the Giants and the doting fans of San Francisco that keep this loser on the Giants Roster.

I found it absurd that Bonds completely FAILED to even try to run out his home run back on the weekend (was it Sunday?). Now....assuming that the ball was not hit over the wall, and of course it did, but humor me......What if the Rockies centerfielder had dropped that ball on the warning track or during the leap to catch it? Bonds would still have been standing at home plate and might have been lucky to reach first base on a ball hit to the wall.
The thing is.....that Bonds just assumes that the ball is either over the wall or caught. he never, ever assumes that the ball might not be caught and he might get a cheap double out of it because of a misplay.
I wish that this very scenario would have happened.
Bonds is an absolute bum. He's also a liability in the outfield.
I still wish for his steriod-laden knee, hip, or something to just crumble so that he has no chance to even get any closer to Hank's mark.
