Nuggets on the Bench

OK. So I was wrong. Not the first time, not the last. The Nuggets don't match up against the likes of the Spurs. It's mosty a bench problem. The Nuggets get little or no help from their subs.
And for cryin' out loud, will they PLEASE go out and get someone besides Carmelo who can hit a three pointer. Kind of makes me long for the days of "Pistol" Pete Maravich, a personal hero of mine. The guy could shoot lights out from another area code.
I'll be drawing right after the game tonight so be sure to check it out Thursday.

The Nugget's have the same old problem. They have ZERO perimeter scoring. They had a three point threat in Boykins and cut him loose. J.R. Smith is a complete waste of a roster spot, and I see now that he will no longer play in at least this series, which is of course, over.
The Nuggets are overmatched for a few reasons....
Iverson is becoming his old moody self. He's unhappy with the fact that he's on yet another team that has no supporting cast. So, he doesn't show up.
Anthony is simply a scorer. As i have stated before, that will never be enough against a team as talented and deep as the Spurs.
The Nuggets have tied up WAY too much money in Anthony, Nene, Camby, and Iverson to have any chance to add the defensive help they need on the bench and the solid 6th man that the successful teams have. They will continue to struggle because of this. They have no clear defensive stopper like a Bowen, nor a top bench player like a Finley or Big Shot Bob to come in and give instant offense for a few minutes at a time.
The series ends tonight. I'll be watching.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!
The Nuggies ae now 4-16 in the playoffs the last 4 years!
Iverson didn't show up just as I knew he wouldn't. Nene's big contract allowed him to be a walking personal foul. Anthony refuses to play defense.
Where are all you so-called Nuggets supporters now? Drowning in your cheap Michelob-Light and Milwaukee's Best while smoking cheap pot with your fellow Denver Donkeys fans? Maybe Anthony and Iverson can join you for some smoke time? They have nothing better to do now.
What a loser town. The Donkeys, Nordiques and now the Nuggies get their collective butts kicked and kicked good. Justice has finally prevailed.
Anyone still think Detroit didn't know something about Anthony when they passed on him in the draft? I think they did, and it's becoming clearer every year.
I'm very satisfied. VERY, VERY satisfied.

Thank goodness the Nuggets are out. The world has gone back to normal. I was wondering if I needed to build a bunker for the coming NWO.
Nuggets have stunk since... oh, that's right, Alex English and Dan Issel's time.
I have an idea... have the Nuggets dump all their overpriced, underplaying man-children and give the salary money to the Monforts with the condition they spend it on the Rockies. One non-stinking team is better than two stinkers.
