The Great Escape

Ahhh...at long last, like rain on the arid sands, football, football, football...In the immortal words of one of America's great heroes- Yabadabadoo!

Hooray for football!!!! Finally the sport I love is back. I am ready to enjoy some competition on Sundays and get away from the off-season scandals!

Yes -- football -- such a better sport than the others. What with the continual arrests and domestic violence. I love the smell of booze and blood on a Sunday morning.

    Who's with me???

Come on....where's the excitment of actually playing real games? Right?

I mean, football itself is just a game. All this dogfighting crap is REALITY. It's EXCELLENT theatre, no?

(Note that this post is just dripping....nay....FLOWING with sarcasm, mmkay?)

I'll still say the Broncos are most likely 6-10 this year. Cutler hasn't proved anything. The defense is suspect. Injuries happen. They also haven't had a stinker of a season in a while. They're due for one. All teams are at some point, and their point is this year.

I like the moves Shanahan has made this year. I think Cutler will prove that while he is not the next coming of Elway, he is a heck of a step up from Griese and Plummer.

I also like the no nonsense attitude of commissioner Goodell. I hope he keeps it up and starts to get rid of the off the field circuses that seem to pop up every year. I know you love the scandals Tom, but you can always follow the idiots in Hollywood to get your fill.

I think the Broncos are going to have a great year. We may be a year or two from winning it all, but I will predict 11-5 with a Wild Card birth or maybe just barely stealing the Division away from the Bolts. I could be wrong though – maybe the pieces will all fall into place and we will run the table – take that ’72 Dolphins. It could happen…

I love this time of year!

Pointing out sarcasm defeats the whole purpose, moron. I am sick and tired of your negativity.

    That is all.

But , (**Yawn**) then I read your incredibly idiotic post that I damn near fell asleep S & T.....

    What incredible drivel.

    Oh....and WOW!!!!!

    How original as well.

I hope you feel much better after saying all that useless crap. It's as if you gave your mind an enema and that's all that could be purged.
