Elway Family Offense

drew0824.gif

Wanted: 9 win, lose & Drew bloggers to join me in our own Fantasy Football League. Interested? Here's the way it works... I've created a league called the Fraternal Order of Pigskin on the ESPN website. We'll use that to host our league. To join just fill in the comment box here on the blog with your name (first names only), your team nickname (keep it clean) and the words COUNT ME IN. Be sure to add your e-mail address in the space that asks for it in the comment box. I'll then send you an invite that will link you to the league site. We'll pick a draft time for next weekend, probably Saturday afternoon September 1 after the CU-CSU game. It's a live online draft which means you can participate with your favorite beverage and your cheat sheets in front of your home computer. It's free and the F.O.P. champion will get a win, lose & Drew autographed original unless, of course, by some miracle I happen to win. If that occurs then we'll come up with a consolation prize. All members of the Fraternal Order of Pigskin Fantasy League will get a free official F.O.P. t-shirt (sizes are limited to x-large or xxl only, sorry). The league is open to anyone who wants to participate for the whole season, can be a part of the live draft and enjoys the camaraderie of Fantasy football. Just remember there are only 9 slots open. I look forward to hearing from you.

Drew

Drew's top cartoon, in my opinon, is the Arthur Ashe Tennis racquet which I believe was titled "
    Bridge over troubled waters".

This stands at the very pinnacle of your work!

Your top effort, without a doubt, was your Arthur Ashe Tennis racquet cartoon. I believe it was titled "Bridge over troubled waters. In my opinion, that stands at the pinnacle of hundreds of great compositions you have produced!

Based on this toon, if John Elway comes out of his hole on Feburary 2nd and sees his shadow, we're in for 6 more weeks of Winter.

Love it Drew. Elway must be fun for you to draw. Any ideas on how his dentist gets around those two barn doors when giving him a cleaning?

Thanks for the great response to the Fraternal order of Pigskin Fantasy Football League. I decided to add 4 more teams because of the response which will bring the league size to 16 teams total. That means we have room for ONE more team. In the meantime I'll await your invite responses, and we'll kick around a few good draft times. With 16 it might be hard to get a concensus, but I'm hoping we can avoid autopicking in our draft as much as possible. It's just more fun to do it live but I know that can be hard to schedule that many people to be in front of their computers at once. I'll get more info from you all later so I can get your t-shirts in the mail to you. Thanks again,

    Drew
