Very nice, Drew. But, speaking as a graphic artist, that's a little TOO clean for a rush - inked and colored and posted this quick. Something tells me you might possibly have prepared this one just a little bit in advance...

No matter. It's still on the mark. And it's perfect If you did do this on deadline, I'm even more impressed!

Except for the fact that to be legal, all the linemen on the special teams unit need to be STATIONARY at the time of the snap of the ball.

At least 3 Broncos were not set and were moving.

This is called a false start.

In otherwords, the play should have been blown dead, a penalty assessed, and because Denver had no timeouts left, the clock should then have run out.

    End of game.

    Buffalo 14
    Denver 12

It's in the rulebook. I'm not making this stuff up.

The Broncos did not "win" this game. They were allowed to break the rules to "win".

Put one of these (*) next to the box score.

Um Tom, I watched the replay after your comments...all linemen were set.

I don't mind your dislike of the Broncos but at least be sure of your facts before you trash them.

Seriously, the news replay CLEARLY showed everyone was set in their postions.

Drew the cartoon is accurate and reflects everyone in my house today. Truly a special win but I'm hoping for a couple of blowouts in the coming weeks!

    Tom, you're just wrong.

I just watched the kick multiple times on NFL Replay on the NFL Network. The line is set. No one is moving.

Please go back and watch and then give me the names and or numbers of the players you believe are moving.

    There won't be any.

What an insane finish today! We literally had to watch that about five times just to make sure it actually happened. Tom, you're clearly well of the mark with your info and your comments. Don't rain on a parade here buddy. And speaking of rain, I hear there's plenty of that in Buffalo...maybe you should go visit...indefinitely.

We played in Buffalo and the clock didn't run out . The Broncos won, and Elam is a savior again. If you want to be mad, then blame Lohsman. the guy throws a bomb on that short third down. He's probably the most incosistent QB I've ever seen.

Its funny that you are the only one who is saying that it was a false start. Nobody on any of the post-game shows or sportscenter (who do this for a living) are saying this. You just need to find your way to say nay. You suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck.

By the way, how bout that defense. 184 total yards given up. One offensive score.

Sorry Tom... I know you love to be the voice of opposition, but after further review and many rewinds of the DVR... all linemen are set. There was no false start.

We will have to put one of these (*) next to your comment as not congruent with reality, but nice try at stirring the pot.

Awesome win, but as Brian said, we could definitely use some blowouts to let our hearts recover from the stress of this awesome finish.

That was an amazing finish. All the lineman were set and ready to go with 2 seconds left. No false start. That is how special teams needs to play. What a game. But I don't know how many more of these finishes the old ticker can take.

Perhaps one day you will actually tell us the teams you root for and we can give them equal scrutiny. However, I sincerely doubt that will ever happen as you are obviously the "dish it out but can't take it" type. You would be a bandwagon jumper and not actually be honest as to what teams you do in fact root for. When and IF that day occurs perhaps your opinions might actually have some credence.

Per comments that Tom has made previously, he "doesn't watch sports on TV", citing exorbitant salaries and thuggish personalities, and he only "casually" follows the Rox, Nugs, and Broncos. All of which seems a bit inconsistent, since he sure does offer up himself as a well of wisdom, claiming intimate knowledge of sports and players, all the while (mis)citing league rulebooks.

I was also concerned that there would be movement prior to the snap, too many men, etc.

However, I saw the replay many times myself (I have it recorded) and I did not see any movement once they got set. i'm not sure what Tom is seeing.

It looked like a rushed and well executed play and to me. The broncos win.

    Come on all of you.

It's perfectly clear that Tom loves to get your goats. And he does an amazing job of luring you in.

I highly doubt that he means anything he posts here and simply enjoys getting on people for taking something as simplistic as professional sports so seriously. After all, these are just games.

I also think that he wasn't hoping for an injury to Champ, but rather was predicting it. The unfortunate part of this, is that he was right about a season/career ending injury, but predicted the wrong player and team.

Nor is Tom incorrect in his assessment of Cutler being a complete knucklehead.

The guy has a screw loose somwehre and this will be his M.O. for his entire career.

Bonehead plays. What other QB besides Cutler and Plummer have tried a 20 yard pass backwards, to no one in particular?

He's an absolute idiot. Makes sense that Cutler was a Shanahan draftee.
