Perfect cartoon. We actually COULD win the AFC west which is a scary state of affairs
What a sorry state of affairs.
Sure, Denver won.
They won against a Chiefs team that was missing it's best running back and it's only real offensive weapon.
They won against a team that doesn't have a legit quarterback.
The team is still 4-5. They aren't fooling anyone.
It's a win, but it's not a victory of any sort whatsoever.
Mike Shanahan still needs to be fired immediately.
Wow that Selvin Young can run. He looked like a faster Terrel Davis, or a slower Clinton Portis today!
The broncos are missing 8 starters to injury right now, 9 if you count Al Wilson's career ending injury last year. Yet they're still in the thick of the AFC West. They could be this year's version of the 2005 Padres.

WHY DOES EVERYONE ALWAYS CALL FOR THE MGR OR COACH TO BE FIRED WHEN ITST THE PLAYERS THAT ARE ON THE FIELD?
COACHES DO NOT PLAY ON THE FIELD. GET IT ??
GIVE SHANAHAN A BREAK.
LOT OF INJURIES, AND PLAYERS THAT ARE LEFT DO NOT SEEM TO WANT TO PLAY ALL OUT.
GET RID OF SOME PLAYERS, NOT THE COACH.
MIKE'S ONE OF THE BEST EVER. PAST HAS PROVEN IT.
THE GAME PLAN'S FINE.
SOME OF THE PLAYERS ARE NOT !!!!
To all the Shanny haters out there,
If Denver did fire shanny who should take his place? And remember you would have to replace the coach, VP of ops and all the other hats that Shanny wears. Seriously, if you are going to point fingers and demand him to be fired then at least come up with an idea of who he should be replaced by. My opinon is there is not anyone better. All coaches go through losing, all teams go through losing. So either put up or shut up.
- Ryan Braun won the
I had to return just to post this:
From the Associated Press:
National League Rookie of the Year award in one of the closest votes, while Dustin Pedroia ran away with the American League honor today.
Braun, Milwaukee's slugging third baseman, edged Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki by two points in balloting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America.
Oh man! YEAH!!!!!!
Tulo gets stiffed on BOTH the Rookie of the Year AND the gold glove!
WORKING CLASS WIERDO
BET YOU'RE NOT EVEN A MILWAUKE FAN. YOU JUST WANT TO IRRITATE WE ROCKIES FANS. GUESS WHAT. IT'S NOT WORKING !
WE JUST ENJOYED ONE OF THE BASEBALL SEASONS EVER AND NOTHING YOU SAY CAN OR WILL EVER TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US.
SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR COMMENTS TO THE LITTLE ROOM W/ THE PORCELEAN
FIXTURE AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT W/ THEM.
CAUSE WE'RE NOT LISTENING ANY MORE !!!!!
Apparently you are listening.
You responded to me.
Today, Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun beat out Rockies prized shortstop Troy Tulowitzki for National League Rookie of the Year.
"It obviously would have been nice to win, but he had a great year, and he deserves it," said Tulowitzki, as the news came down.
Looks like Troy agrees with the baseball writers. Pretty cool. It's nice to know he understands that he didn't deserve the award and that Braun did. Close, but no cigar on the World Series. the Gold Glove and now the Rookie Of The Year Troy. You scored the negative hat trick this season.
If you're going to try and argue in favor of the Rockies and their fans, please make at least a small attempt to sound intelligent. Use punctuation. Learn to spell. And for God's sake, please use both uppercase and lowercase letters when posting.

What is Tulo going to say!?
"Braun is another dime-a-dozen long-ball-hitting-can't-play-defense player who will be out of the league in 5 years and I got shafted by writers who wouldn't know a legit all star if he kicked them between the legs."
Come on. He had to say that. Tulo got the shaft because of where he plays and the fact that chicks (and writers) dig the long ball.
Oh well. I'll take no ROY, but have a legit all-star short stop than Braun any day.

Colorado seems to be infested with people who couldn't get a job in thier own home town or state, and they came here looking for a life. It seems to me, Transplant (proverbial), that if where you are from is so wonderful, and worthy of your allegience, wouldn't you still be living there? Instead, you came here, and your main passtime is to trash the sensibilities of the locals - like we care what you think!
