Drew: Vick's Nightmare

DREW1212.gif

I've been trying to get a sense for what readers prefer from a blog like this. I've tried to add some personal touches, sketch books and various insights. I want to continue to make this blog better and that's where I need your help. Let me know by leaving your comments what, besides the cartoons, you might find of interest here. More inside insight about sports? More glimpses behind the scenes? More sketches? More cartoon news? Please take the time to let me know so I can bring you a better blog in 2008.

I like the sketches that you sometimes post showing the different ideas you explored before settling on the final drawing.

So far as content, during the spring time I wish you would occasionally throw a cartoon at the crush and mammoth. Those are some pretty popular teams that only seem to get your attention if they win a championship.

Other than that I like what you do and think you have a good blog here.

    Drew,

Once again, with the Vick cartoon, you hit it on the head. I anticipate that he'll get an early release for good behavior. But we'll have to wait and see.

I would've drawn Snoopy as the judge.

Maybe some comics about the excessivley self-impressed TV media's (sportscasters, announcers) constant idiocy and SNAFUs, especially when they try to create stories or controversy where none exists. This could keep you going forever.

    Drew,

Please give us more of your insight and motivations as to what makes you draw a given piece.

I love seeing your roughs and the development from the first to final draft of a comic.

As to which sport, to me, it does not matter. I come to see your work and your opinions.

    Mike
