Drew Litton: Patriot Games

Heads up fellow football fanatics. This Super Bowl Sunday you're cordially invited to check out the blog as I'll be drawing cartoons during the game and posting them throughout the afternoon and evening. I've never done something like this before and though it isn't quite as daring as, say, Evel Knievel's Snake River Canyon jump, it is does create the possibility that a cartoonist will spontaneously combust right in front of his very sketchbook. So get out your laptops and join me as I attempt to chronicle the NFLs spectacle of all spectacles on a high wire thousands of feet above the Mile High city. Well, not really. But it might just feel that way. I'll start the cartoons Sunday about 2 p.m., and continue right on through until the Fat Lady sings or Belichick forks over the binoculars, whichever comes first. Then I'll draw my daily for Monday which I'll post about 11 p.m. Sunday night. Hope you all will come along for the ride.

And be sure to join in on Friday at 11 a.m. when I'll be chatting online here at the News with Mark Wolf. You can join the chat here href="http://www.rockymountainnews.com/chat/">http://www.rockymountainnews.com

like I said in the chat, I'm no football fan but I am rooting for the Patriots. But if the Giants win that's good too, congrats to Eli and the guys. I'm looking forward to the Super Bowl Blog Party! :D

If Burress can give a guarantee, then I'll give mine.

Manning will be constantly throwing his tantrums after being constantly sacked. The Pats will drop him between 7-10 times in the game. He'll complete less than 10 passes for less than 70 yards. Eli ain't his brother.

    Pats 41
    Giants 3

Bitter probably... I myself predicted Giants 33, Pats 31 for our weekly office pool... unfortunately someone else had it Giants 23, Pats 17, so they won.
