win, lose & Drew: Nuggets playoff run

DREW0422.gif

Stay tooned for my upcoming NFL Draft Blog. Join me online here on Saturday afternoon as I cartoon and blog the first round of the draft. I did this for the Super Bowl and had a blast. I hope you'll log on and check out the cartoons which will be posted as quickly as I can sketch them. And we can run it like almost like a chat room where everyone can respond to each others comments. Think of it as a Draft party. It Should be fun. The draft starts at 1p.m. MST, a little later than years past. Each team only gets 10 minutes to make their pick which means the Vikings are in trouble. But the pace should be a little faster than a Broncos Defensive lineman. I'll be drawing the rest of the week as well so be sure to stop by and see the latest Nuggets and Avs cartoons and then the Draft blog on Saturday...

Drew, keep in mind that the Avs will likely have a playoff game on Saturday (on the road), so a lot of people will be watching that during that same time. You might want to drop in a comment or cartoon on that too. Keep up the good work.

The Nuggets are going to get swept. End of story.
Karl can decide to start Kleiza if he chooses, but a fat lot of good that's going to do. Kleiza can't play defense either. And seeing that Anthony and Iverson are incapable of sharing the ball, Kleiza won't get many looks from the field anyway. He'll get his standard 7 points, and the Nuggets will lose by 22 or more. Kobe will score 40 or more points in this series at least once, and I'm betting that he does it in game 2.
    Th Nuggets are the "No-Guts."

Seriously, who cares about the Nuggets? There is no way they will ever compete with the real teams in the NBA. The Spurs, Suns, Hornets, Lakers, Mavericks, Jazz, Pistons...etc.
Add to the fact that the Sonics (or whatever they will be called soon) and the Blazers are going to be tons better over the next 10+ years, and the Nuggets are finished. Just wait until Camby has to deal with Oden patroling the paint.
The Nuggets will be lucky to stay in 4th place in their own division soon enough.
