That about says it all Drew. A small market team living up to a World Series appearance is a lot. Having kept the team mostly in tact from last year one would think they could be doing a little better, but after all it is the Rockies. Looks like it's time to bring back to O'Dowd toons!

Cheer up Rockies fans-you guys are favorites to get Red Sox castaway
Julian Tavarez who pitches more like Julie
Yep-the return of Julie Tavarez. When you acquire that stiff you know your team is in the shi**er.

Ever the optimist in sports. Hey folks it is still early in the season. If the Devil Rays and Marlins are in First place in their respective Divisions then the Rockies can come back.

    Lowell-Not a chance.
The Rockies are already talking up a fire sale of the team.
The Rox have to dump Todd Helton. Dead weight. No power. He doesn't have it anymore and would be better off DHing in a AL park.
They should've traded Todd Helton to Boston last spring.

I knew it was coming last year. Same old Rockies, same committment to mediocrity, same midweek attendance that makes the Rapids look like Woodstock. Same "at least we have the Broncos!" from the local conventional wisdom.

It's 40 game into the season and people are still using the "It's early" excuse.
    When will Rockies fans learn?
The Monforts put the screws to you fans but good last year, and it has just continued into this year.
The Rockies also won't get fair value for Holliday in a trade now because all the other teams know 2 things. That Holliday isn't as good as advertised, and the that the Rockies will be desperate to move him eventually because if they don't, they'll lose him and get nothing.

    Trick or Treat!!!!!!

Boy, did Dick and I ever fool the lot of you!

    No pitchers for you!
    No winning team for you!
No all-star players this year for you!

Our goal this year is to be 20-25 games out of first by Independence Day, and we're on a good pace!

    Hey Todd Helton- writes:

John Denver has more hits than you and he's been dead for years.
Todd please for the love of the Rockies-demand a trade so we can find a hitter with a pulse you over paid-past -your prime stiff.

Hey trolls, keep on moving to the back of the bus. You all made the same useless noise last year, and this time around there won't be any room for you on the Playoff bandwagon.
