Best Use for a Hockey Stick

A Simple Note
For some 26 years now I've had the tremendous honor and pleasure to chronicle sports in Colorado with my daily cartoons. I've had the opportunity to see this great city finally win, not one, but, two Super Bowl championships, two Stanley Cups, the birth of a Major League Baseball franchise and its appearance in the World Series. I've been able to watch the first, but certainly, not the last Denver Broncos player enter the NFL hall of fame and author a book about it as well. I've been very blessed to be able to draw cartoons for the readers of the Rocky Mountain News. As you know by now our paper is up for sale. I'm not sure what the future holds. I just know that Denver and the state of Colorado has the greatest sports fans in the world. I will continue to bring the readers of this paper the very best cartoons I can possibly produce in the days and weeks, and, hopefully, months and years to come. Because the sports fans of Colorado deserve nothing less.

Mt. Crushmore
Mt. Crushmore voting is winding down. We'll give you an idea how the voting turned out after all the votes are tallied. Then next week I'll be drawing Mt. Crushmore and we'll have it available for download as soon as possible. We'll also have a look back at the year in cartoons and, hopefully, a new animation for you to look at during the holidays. Stay tooned.

Drew, your cartoons have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Thanks for all the great work. If the worse happens and the Rocky shuts down, I really hope that the Denver Post is smart enough to hire you. Best of luck.

Well...so much for the Rocky Mountain News.

Another case of technology moving too fast for the world's own good. I'm glad I at least grew up when things were at a slower pace.

It sucks when things are all about money.

Thank you for the years of great toons! You are the reason that I get the RMN and not the Post (well, the other cartoons in the Spotlight too, but....). Don't give up hope that the paper will go on. If not then the could REALLY use some fantastic cartoonists with a good sence of humor.

Great toon, but why limit the stick to just one idiot? I am sure there are other deserving load mouths.

As a transplanted Colorado fan living in Indiana I have looked for your cartoon for years and enjoy everyone of them. With your recent innovations I hope you find some form to continue you art because many of us enjoy it very much!
