Barry Bonds: Proof is in the Cards

Long as I can see the Light
Readers and staff members of the Rocky participated in a candlelight march last night in honor of a newspaper on the brink of extinction. The logo for Scripps, the company who owns the Rocky, is a lighthouse. All of us here at the Rocky are committed to keeping that light burning brightly, bringing all of the readers of this paper the very best product we can, until for reasons beyond our control, the lighthouse is extinguished.

Blah, blah, blah.
Brink of extinction?
Good God Drew. I know it's your job, but let's not get overdramatic here. It's a newspaper. Newspapers have technically been obsolete for about a full decade already.
Who's going to play you in the Hallmark made-for-TV drama?
Sheesh.

"Newspapers have technically been obsolete for about a full decade already."
Maybe that person should start paying to read your Cartoons instead of getting off internet for free.

Anonymous, I am starting to think you are a jolted cartoonist just taking jabs at people who are actually good at their jobs.

Jim, there are so many posters that post under Anonymous. How can you even begin to tell the difference?
Drew has been incredibly negative lately, and it's almost as if he expects his readers to somehow take up a collection to save the RMN.
Not many people are jumping on pity party bandwagons these days. Drew, sorry things are tough, but they are tough all over.

How bout this guys, the company you have been working at for God knows how long, and that you actually CARE about ,is getting ready to fold, and your going to lose your job in a tough economy
maybe we should all be supportive of someone who has given us so much instead of taking pot shots and sniping. Maybe lend some support for God's sake
