A Michael Phelps moment

In Hot Water
The news over the last few days about Michael Phelps incriminating photographs have come as a bit of a shock to sports fans the world over. It's unfortunate that Phelps was not more protective of his reputation and the responsibility that comes with it. Questions arose during the Olympics about Phelps medals and the possibility that they were the by product of, shall we say, illegal substances. Now it makes one wonder, doesn't it?

Drew I like your cartoon but pot slows you down not speed you up. Every athlete is scrutinized to make sure they are not cheating, just because Michael won 8 medals doesn't make him more apt to cheat than someone that won one. when will America realize that pot is here to stay and it would be safer if it was legalized and controlled. Besides we would save millions on law enforcement costs and make billions in tax revenue. It is also a sure way to stop the killing in Mexico my the drug cartel.

Looks like Phelps jumped on the Pineapple Express. Now his career could go Up in Smoke (sorry, couldn't resist).
    Nice Dreams, Michael.

As Robin Williams would say "the only way that pot is a performance enhancing drug is if there's a big freakin candy bar at the end of the race." How does Michael Phelps smoking pot make you think that he's taking steroids or HGH Drew? You're talking about 2 entirely unrelated substances.

Just tossing it out there as food for thought. There were some people who were totally convinced their was something suspicious about that many medals. I wasn't one of them, but given this photo of Phelps has come to light it does cast a shadow of doubt. I'm just saying, Phelps should have been more cautious about the responsibility he has to his USA teammates and to his sponsors. Not to mention himself.

I don't think anybody can deny the fact that he should have been more protective of hi image, however to say that he cheated is a little ridiculous. If you turned on the news and some 23 year old kid was arrested for smoking pot you probably say it was a slow news day so why do we care so much about Phelps? Big deal he smoked marijuana AFTER the olympics when we had a couple month break. I just don't get why this is being hyped up so much.

Yeah, this is way worse than A-Rod on the juice. Really calls into question his winning all those medals.

Please. A 23-year-old had some weed. It does explain the 10,000-calorie breakfasts, though.
