Here here! if you go to any public utility meeting or resource planning meeting you will find the discussion is dominated by people that have never produced so much as a kilo watt hour of electricity, a gallon of oil, a gallon of drinking water, a bushel of wheat, a cubic foot of natural gas or a dose of penicillin. But they certainly know better than any one else in the room how to do all of the above.

DWP, bravo. You stated your point with such eloquence that I have a hard time believing it is a post in an Internet forum. You hit the nail right on the head regarding who the loudest problem-solvers in America are. Keep writing, I'm quite interested to read your points on other topics.

I've only ever read The Fountainhead, I'll have to check one out.

I read Altas Shrugged a decade ago. It is a life changing book. My teenage daughter read it recently and got very upset. We are heading to a place were whiners are the ones who make the rules and the doers are relegated to virtual slaves. I 've started to re-read it and it is chilling.

I'm definitely gonna read it now, if it's close to as good as her other work it should be quite the interesting read.
