No current events?
While the Rocky had announced, warned and otherwise prepared us for the new physical dimensions of its daily product, it did not warn that the type size would also be reduced to almost unreadable and that it was giving up current events. Front-page coverage of a train-bus wreck from 45 years ago just doesn’t grab much interest.
This is indeed a sad day for those of us in the Rocky Mountain region who enjoyed our first cup of coffee with the Rocky Mountain News.

New Format: The good thing is I can get through the RMN faster now. WHY? Because I can only read the captions. Otherwise, the type size is almost unreadable. If something actually catches my 20/20 vision -- I have a magnifying glass at hand to read the item. I've saved the Rocky dated January 20th, '07 so I can remember how it used to look when I could "read" everything!!! M. Reck, Aurora

I wear my glasses. The new format is awesome, much more aesthetically pleasing than the old one. Please don't change it because people have an issue with admitting they need vision correction, and try having 20/600 vision before you complain about not being able to read small print.
