Point out GOP excesses
Wednesday, January 31 at 12:02 AM

Why don’t the tax-and-spend Democrats, who so quietly accept that title, point out the relationship between the borrow-and-spend Republicans’ highly touted current prosperity and the some $3 trillion increase in the national debt in the last six years. Total national debt is about $9 trillion now, I hear.
Give any high school lad an unlimited credit card and he can appear very prosperous, like the richest kid in town, in just a couple of weeks. But down the road — somewhere, sometime, somehow — someone is going to have one heck of a credit card bill to pay off! Speak up, D’s!
Guess who will pay for all this apparent prosperity — of which I get to see none!

The national debt. Who cares? The national debt is just a number that will never be paid. Ever. Who is going to come collect? All it does is devalue the dollar, which really doesn't matter, unless you travel oversees a TON. Yeah, yeah, inflation, but come on. Shut up about the national debt. Cut the more than 15 types of assistance and the more than 10,000 federal programs, and MAYBE there would be no debt. Simplistic, I know, but come on!!!

er yes it will Dan.

China is a major holder of that debt and they have to be paid back at some point.

As the man said, somehow, some day we have to pay it back, China didn't take our debt for fun and good will.
They want influence and at some point, money or goods to settle the debt.

Now how do you propose we start working it off?
Will you produce goods without payment to contribute?
