Classified ads
my problem is my income from rentals has not gone up these past few years and I have to list it for longer periods of time in some cases up to 3 months of advertising per property.
Plse reconsider your consumer needs.

Lou: A lot of people have had this problem. Go to www.craigslist.org and then link to Denver. You can place an ad for free.
Posted by Karen on February 28, 2007 02:18 PMPS Apologies to the Rocky, I know craigslist is killing print classifieds across the US. But it sounded like Lou needed another option.
Posted by karenm on February 28, 2007 02:23 PMI am a LL here in the 'Springs. I never use classified ads due to the cost in our local paper. Real estate ads are the most expensive!
I use a yard sign (w/ flyers attached) and on my last vacancy I tried Rentclicks.com. That was how I got my current tenant, and the cost is only $39. per month and you get to post pictures and a good description of the property.
No one reads the newspapers, especially younger people who do everything on-line.
Karenm, no need to apologize to the Rocky, Craigslist does an outstanding job, and if the Rocky or the Post want to compete, they dont have to charge so much for classified advertising. Thanks for sharing that with Lou and many others who cant afford 450.00 for advertising.
