Illegal immigrants
Illegal immigrants don not deserve any rights Americans enjoy because they broke our laws and came here illegally.
First of all, they all know before they step foot on our soil and break our laws what their choices entail. They make them anyway.
Second, everone who cries about breaking up the families doesn’t stop and think about the families they left behind to come here. Many of them have a family there AND a family here. Which family do you feel sympathy for? The person who left his family behind and deserted them for a better life here does not deserve our sympathy. They have the best of both worlds, as they have a family on whichever side of the border they reside!
Third, she tries to make it a bad thing that our country raids these illegals and enforces our laws. We are a nation of laws and the laws are meant to be abided by. Just because they thrumb their noses at our laws doesn’t mean our country doesn’t have the right and the need to enforce our laws. Take a look at Mexico’s laws, if you find ours so stiff!
I say ICE isn’t doing enough! Gods knows there are plenty of targets. We should be seeing a raid on a daily basis! I am tired of these sympathy stories for these illegals! My sympathy goes to Americans who suffer because our wages have been driven down because of them, who suffer because our taxes go to illegals when I cannot get health care. I am tired of driving thru portions of town that have turned into Mexican barrios! I am tired of hearing Spanish spoken everywhere I go. Many of them have lived here for years and still cannot speak English! So don’t tell me they want to come here and assimilate!
My thoughts on Ms Salinas’s article worrying over the children, is that ICE be given the names of their children and the family deported as a whole! Their “anchor baby” scheme fails and they are all sent back as a family so the children are not left behind for American taxpayers to take care of.
It’s time we take care of our own first. I agree with Ms Salinas- No child should be left behind!

Illegal aliens willingly use their children as political human shields in an effort to stay in the USA.
The media aids this illegal behavior by writing sob stories about the alleged plight of the illegal alien.
Illegal aliens know full well that entering the USA illegally is a crime, and that foolish Americans buy into the "What about the children" sob story phrase.
This American and many more do not buy into this sob story and are disgusted that our government looks the other way concerning these criminals. We are fed up with the media's bias in making these people look like they have been wronged by the American system of law.
Enforce our existing laws, build a wall, and deport, deport, deport.

Posted by on April 2, 2007 07:05 PMA good place to start deportation is at the hospital. Everytime an illegal has a child ICE is called before the baby comes out. The mother and baby get one day in hospital for vaginal delivery,3 days for c-section ( that is all that is allowed people with insurance ) then they are escorted to the airport and put on a plane for Mexico or whereever one way of course.
If this is made policy they will stop using our hospitals to have free health care for having baby after baby. The baby will no longer be an anchor but a one way ticket.

The pro-illegal tripe they write is disgusting. If the people crossing our borders were white Europeans, Salinas and Griego would be blowing their stacks, and calling for deportation in a grand sweep of the nation.
Salinas and Griego are two of the biggest racists who do nothing more than babble on.
I don't read their columns anymore.
I don't know about the rest of you but I am just tired of the pity party every time they have to be separated from their children when they know full well that coming her illegal to begin with may mean exactly that so don't cry when it happens. Also I am so tired of elitest Hollywood saying they (the illegals) take care of our kids and they clean our houses. I don't know about everbody else but we take care of our own kids and clean our own house.
