And so now the supporters of illegal aliens take Chavez’s name in vain in boosting their “right” to crash our border, burden our social services and school systems, and become an undercurrent of illegal activity.
Bush wants them for big business; Democrats want them for votes; and government wonks want them for the paperwork that justifies their job. But they are a drain on society, schools, health services, and law enforcement. Just because they want to cut the line doesn’t make them more worthy then the aliens willing to enter the country legally; less so. The parades, the boycotts, the protests; it’s really getting old to citizens burdened with the cost of people who don’t belong here.
This letter has not been edited.
Cesar Chavez was strongly opposed to illegal immigration. But Larry De Cicco is quite wrong to say that Chavez hated illegal immigrants. Chavez was love, not about hatred. But I doubt that people like De Cicco understand being against something but not hating it. Hate seems to be the fuel that runs so many people's lives. It was foreign to Cesar Chavez. It is a sacrilege to accuse this beautiful man of hatred.
Here is a prayer written by Chavez to symbolize his struggle:
"Show me the suffering of the most miserable;
So I will know my people's plight.
Free me to pray for others;
For you are present in every person.
Help me take responsibility for my own life;
So that I can be free at last.
Grant me courage to serve others;
For in service there is true life.
Give me honesty and patience;
So that the Spirit will be alive among us.
Let the Spirit flourish and grow;
So that we will never tire of the struggle.
Let us remember those who have died for justice;
For they have given us life.
HELP US LOVE ENVE THOSE WHO HATE US;

They are ruining this country and the politicians that are allowing it should be sent to Mexico, along with all the illegals. It is a nightmare with no end in sight. Who would believe that this vast invasion could have happened? It is a very sad thing to be happening to our Country. Can anything be done to stop the destruction?

How big a fine did Swift get hit with when their plants were 'raided' by ICE? And does any member of their upper management face jail time? Or how about the individual who hires an illegal nanny or landscaper? Have you boycotted Swift products? Have you turned in a friend/family member who who has hired an illegal?

But Cesar Chavez did understand economic and social realities - which made him a great labor leader. On the economic side he knew that an unending supply of cheap (illegal) labor drives DOWN the value of his union laborers in the fields - as labor in an economic sense is a commodity. Not that people are, but labor is. The more you have of anything means that its market value is diminished in total.
On the societal front, Cesar Chavez also knew that assimilation and commonality were also important issues. We are becoming "Balkanized" in America with such a huge and massive influx of people that have no intention of ever assimilating. We have 2 cultures, each resenting the other. But one has a right to be resentful as they see a culture invading their country and breaking the rules to get a foothold on a new life.
Here is what we are really up against. Read this: “Surely you must realize all of your efforts, all of them, are futile? Your own government and elected representatives are aiding and abetting our Reconquista, and there is nothing you can do about it. Nothing! This is our country now. Can you honestly say California is an American state? Our people are firmly in charge there. Once the mid-term elections are over the government will move full speed ahead with a blanket amnesty and citizenship for all of the immigrants already here.
“This will cause a virtual flood of immigration as our brethren crash the gates and demand their human rights, citizenship, and social benefits. You, the white colonizer and pillager, will pay for it all! Once our brothers get the right to vote we will ensure that only those who agree with, or at least support our agenda stand for office. We will read that this bill wants a ten thousand dollar fine to be paid, return to their country of origin then, let them back in and provide "a path to citizenship" Any wording that includes "path to citizenship" in ANY bill is AMNESTY!! Get involved!!! We need all the people faxing and calling to express our disgust with any amnesty for illegals.
It is our duty as citizens to protect this country against invasion from any country. Our leaders simply do not care about the American citizen at this time in history. We are becoming the United States of Mexico the new third world country.

I am doing all I can to help stop this horrendous influx of millions by just one country. This type of foreign flooding at our gate has got to be STOPPED one way or the other. Our clueless leaders are playing with fire here.
I think there will be real trouble in the future if the illegals are allowed to stay and givin citizenship.

Well - to some extent that is true. Our technology and money have made a great number of us complacent and stupid, lacking in even the energy for an attempt at self-preservation. Truthy is right. The vast silent majority still hold firm to the Constitution and especially the 2nd Amendment. Think about that before you start waiving the Mexican flag over the USA. It will take a lot more than numbers to overcome what is right. It will take a lot more than a Globalist FEDERAL government to subdue the states as well. Go ahead. Bring it on. See what happens in the end. Just as the 'whitey' has been warned, so to have the invaders.

Allard is on the Transportation Board and he isn't stopping the Mexican trucks from coming across the Border. Salazar is a joke, he doesn't represent the legal citizens of the US at all. I do think more and more Americans are becoming aware of the illegal aliens taking over this country and hopefully there will be more of an uproar than there is now.

I wonder how much that puppy cost, and how many poor people in the developing world could have been fed for a year with the money used for another Catholic Church art trinket.
