President Bush
One can’t help but wonder, 1).Why hasn’t HE done it? and 2). What’s he afraid of?
One can only answer, 1). cowardice.
and 2). apparently everything.
We needed a Commander-in-Chief after 9/11, not a paranoid CEO wannabe w/ an Oedipus complex. What a mess he’s made of things, internationally as well as domestically.
Normally, I’d say impeachment was in order, but Vice-Resident Cheney is one scary dude all by himself.
God help us all, and God bless Madame Speaker Pelosi. She’s got spunk.
This letter has not been edited.
Very keen observation, however, I think there will be a lot of conservatives looking up just who Oedipus was and why they have a complex named after him.
It will be a good mental workout for them, and a lot of folks will agree with you, as it explains a lot about the mental makeup of W.Bush .
I know its a slow day in Brain Stuckey's pathetic little world, but now they're reprinting the same letter from this leftist loser two days in a row?
Posted by How much does the Rocky Editorial Page Suck? on April 12, 2007 10:14 PMHey HMDTREPS, the letter ahead of this one in line has a 6 syllable word in its criticism of the House Speaker. Goes to show that at least one Republican can memorize something, if it's read to him often enough, slowly enough, and loudly enough. Even get to the point of using it in a sentence too; just imagine that!
Oedipus is only 3 syllables. That much less hard work.
Posted by Old Grouch on April 13, 2007 07:09 AMThe cons are really having to reach to prop up their increasingly dwindling base of true fascist believers, as is evidenced by their pathetic support of a brain-dead "war-time-czar" Bush and his multinational puppeteers.
It's got to be hard to be right-wing when you know deep down that you're wrong,....Hey! Ain't that the title of a country tune?
The Dixie Chicks had it right all along.
I am reg. Impendent. If Pelosi was a Republican I would still admire, respect her, and applaud her. I saw her last night on the Tonight Show. She is such a beckon interested in representing the bulk of the people since it is the bulk of the people who told "retard" to take a hike (I would vote for Giuliani, but not Thompson, Romney, or Huckabee who want to rule from a holy book). I can’t decipher why some castigate her. r22037yahoo

Posted by Earl on April 13, 2007 09:32 AMRichard Grimes, why would you want to vote for a guy like Rudy Giuiani, who after lying about it finally admitted that his father was a criminal who worked for the mafia and also did some prison time. A guy that kept his mistress hidden from his wife for a long time and then later rewarded the mistress with a cushy job. And especially a guy, who on 9/11 actually said to the late Peter Jennings, on ABC Television, that before the World Trade Tower collapsed, he was told that the World Trade Tower was going to collapse. Here is a guy that was told about an event that has never happened before and did not bother to get on his radio and tell others to get out before the building collapsed. Who told him and why does he avoid this important issue. he cuod have saves some lives. This is the thing that will dog him on the campaign where ever he goes to make sure he does not get elected. Rudy, the guy that had the steel from 9/11 crime scene quickly shipped off to Asia to prevent any analysis of it to determine what happened. He would be another puppet president for the elite. And traveling Nancy P. can do what ever she wants because she is worth about $90 million.
Posted by Alex on April 13, 2007 11:28 AMThanks, Alex, for not flogging me; take note, I am voting for the lesser Republican evil when I vote for Rudy. However, it is no wonder that we're still having a hard time teaching Jeffersonian democracy to the Iraqis. It is still controversial in America. r22037yahoo
Posted by Richard Grimes on April 13, 2007 11:45 AMI like Rudy's take on taxpayer funded abortions. He says because abortion is a constitutional right, we should pay for those people who can't afford it.
I think it's a great idea. If I can't afford to keep and bear arms then I can apply for my taxpayer subsidized arms, right?

Posted by KW on April 13, 2007 12:35 PMAlex: This comes from a New Yorker: Mayor Giuliani, uptight over Christ’s replacement, a naked black woman, seeks to censor to “set decency standards for those institutions that are using your money, the taxpayers money,” while such money is paid to guard his girlfriend while his wife has both guards and tax-payer staff that helps her with her duties as estranged first lady,” writes Gale Collins. r22037yahoo
Posted by Richard Grimes on April 13, 2007 02:55 PMRichard,
Are you OK with Rudy's strong fascist tendencies?
Posted by on April 13, 2007 03:51 PMOkay! I won't vote for Rudy; I can't vote for the other Rethuglicans since their brains have been eaten by a critter called god. Send a candidate with his brains intact (no religious virus in his brain) and I'll vote. Sometimes the majority only means that all the fools are on the same side and this was demonstrated when all the evangelists voted for Bush whose god sends him to Iraq. r22037yahoo
