War protest
Monday, April 2 at 1:19 PM

Anthony J. Fabian of Aurora writes:

It was laughable to read in the Rocky Mountain News that high schools students who cut class to protest the Iraqi war did so because they care about their educational futures. These poor kids sure have a strange notion of priorities.

Are you trying to suggest that the average American is in touch with realistic priorities? Are you daft?

If you saw the coverage on TV, the majority of students were latinos. Now they get to tell our government they don't like the war.Actually it was a pitiful attempt to get out of school.
What's next a protest against the pet food companies?

If they skip classes and miss getting an education, they could end up, you know, what Kerry said. In Iraq.

I agree with Anthony. I get sick and tired of these kids showing an interest in current events. They should stick to playing computer games.
