Spring has sprung and the Denver Denizens are out properly training their offspring to be aware and safe in this busy world. The dogs are being properly trained to stop, sit and listen at all street crossings. It will probably stay with them for life. The children are getting the advantage of the wisdom of their parents. They are taught that the rules of the road do not apply if you are on a bike. You can ride through crosswalks, stop signs, red lights and passing on the right is no problem. When approaching a crosswalk on foot speed up—don’t stop, look and listen. If you get clipped the saying is “sue them.”
It will probably stay with them for life. When they get behind the wheel of a 4,000 pound automobile nothing will change. I would bet on the longevity of the animal kingdom.

I consider bicyclists Moving Targets!

I have no problem with bicyclists that obey the rules of the road. But if they ride 2 by 2, through traffic signals, in the middle of the road and such, it's nothing a little juicy saliva can't fix...

Seriously though, I have never had too many problems with bicyclists, other than in and around Boulder. But Boulderites are different anyway right? The rules of the universe tend to not apply in Boulder. I actually saw a family yell at a friend of mine to slow down, while WALKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. haha

Try going to Cherry Creek Reservoir. Bike path? What bike path?

Wow! Jim, you managed to generalize and stereotype millions of people on the actions of a few idiots. If you were commenting on a race or religion, the people on this forum would tear you apart, but because most people are too indolent to ride a bike, you get their full support here. Kindred, lazy, dumbass spirits. Who's next? The Irish haven't been made fun of by an idiot in while--why not them? Or perhaps the Mormons...nope, wait, Sharpton recently got them. He beat you to the punch. It's a tough choice, but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Way to demonstrate your hamster-level intelligence!

Good for you Dan2! Spitting on people is a great thing! Certainly not near as bad as riding a bike. You're my new hero. I'm making bracelets that say "W W D2 D" and then on the other side, it says "Spit on them!" Nimrod.

You all are so righteous, driving around in your cars (probably by yourselves), thinking you're the only person in the world.

It is a good law that does not permit carrying of a gun otherwise there'd be a lot of dead motorists: e.g. those who come up behind you and honk when you are hugging the curb or conduct themselves in a menacing way. JVB: Bike Rider.

Bike riders need to stay off the sidewalks, it is very dangerous for pedestrians.
Dont put other people in danger just because you're too scare to ride on the street like you're supposed to.
