Callous dog owner
Just to show what a sick world we live in the car coming the other direction sped up to try to hit the dog. He missed. After pulling the grey dog off the road I went to the Fall River road exit to use the yellow CHP phone to report the dog down and that I was going to look for the other dog. After driving around awhile with no luck I circled around back to the scene where the police where and told them I couln’t find the other dog. Unfortunately the officer said he did find the other dog. He got hit too. I was crushed. I wanted so much to save that dog. Instead I saw him pancaked on the hiway on the way to work today. Why would you do this when so many shelters would’ve taken them for free. Instead you murdered your dogs and caused emotional destress for three inocent people. You know no matter how bad what you did to these dogs was. These dogs still loved you uncondtionaly, and would keep on loving you indefinetly.
But don’t let this go to your head because I know me and two other people HATE YOUR GUTS.

Glen,
I saw the same thing myself when we lived out where the airport is now.
I feel like you. If I ever caught someone doing that, I would do my level best to catch them and dump them in the middle of the Pawnee National Grasslands.
I wonder how they treat their kids if they have any.
Unfortunately dog and cats both get dumped at the end of ski season by the employees as they take off and look for another job.
It makes me love my own dog and cat more.
Words cannot describe my anger when I read a letter like Mr. Evans. Those poor animals were just looking for the people they loved. My only consolation is"what goes around comes around"!
I sure hope these people do not have any children or we will be reading about dead and abused kids, just like like the poor children in this weeks RMN.
What a complete a--h---. A shelter would have taken them in for free or anominal fee, and I'm sure it was a shorter drive than Idaho Springs. You are complete and total scum.
I rescued a puppy from a shelter. He, 2 of his siblings and mother were found abandoned. A coworker adopted the mom, and two siblings were adopted aout as well. I can't speak for the other 2, but my dog and the mom are great dogs, but they were going to be left for dead just becasue it was inconvenient to take them to a shelter. What a bunch of crap.
Posted by BO on May 9, 2007 05:29 PMThis is such an upsetting letter to read. I just cannot imagine setting defenseless animals up for certain death like this.
Why?
Mr. Evans and the couple who tried to help these poor creatures should be commended. Thankfully, there is some good in the world.
